Nobody would have predicted Tech would be spending like this even two years ago. It’s impossible to predict who may start spending big money in the next few years and thus silly to be so dismissive of any major program.

Wisconsin is the king if 9-3 since 2000
It’s Oregon
It’s Oregon

Recency bias says Oregon. I think I'd lean Wisconsin.
Oregon has a 4-3 record against Wisconsin including a thrilling Rose Bowl victory soooo….

Oregon had been the texas tech/Indiana upstart powerhouse program since 2010
2003 bruh. I still remember the EA Sports NCAA Football 2003 cover.

You people just don't respect the Hawkeyes. It's been a strong program since the early 80s.

More like 2001. That was the year they finished #2 and should have played Miami in the Rose Bowl, but the BCS computers and pollsters hated the Pac 10.
ETA: Harrington was on the NCAA 2003 cover because the game was for the 2002 season, and Harrington had just been drafted.

W/O Saban is Iowa is the better program than LSU. LSU bball is more successful than football without Saban.

I think historically it's West Virginia. Was Wisconsin any before Alvarez? Oregon obviously is the new money answer. It's amazing how few programs have actually won in the last 100 years

Historically it's WVU. And they've been right there in '88. I don't know how they live with themselves after the 2007 Pitt game.

he answer is one of West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Oregon, or Wisconsin.
Arkansas & Ole Miss' history is better than all of those

Wisconsin is a perennial decent but not great program. Oregon competes for titles.
Even as a huge Wisconsin fan I 100% agree with this

West Virginia was the favorite in 2007
