Wow, my favorite of the new stadiums thus far I think. Well done.

Beautiful. Hate the dome though.

Interesting, love that they kept in mind of DC’s architecture. Finally that dump of a stadium in Landover gets replaced

I was a Redskins fan. The NFL fired me.

It looks like an impressive mormon temple or an art museum.

They better make it disposable and easily recycled, because that franchise goes through stadiums like **** through a goose.

I know but it's stupid just to get that one chance every 10 years or so. It's not as fun watching games indoors. What happened to the days they would have super bowls in semi cold weather locations like this?

Who the frick wants to spend $10k plus to go to a Super Bowl and be out in shite weather? No one.

And it’s not just about the Super Bowl, having a lid on it means they can have events in there every day of the year and not have to worry about weather fricking it all up.

ACC can now hold their title game there instead of the awful panthers stadium in charlotte (assuming conference title games will still be a thing)

ACC should be in Atlanta.

Move SEC to New Orleans and/or Dallas

Obviously not soyboys like you. DC weather is average of around 50 and only a few days of rain In February. Chances are good weather unless 50 is too cold inside a stadium for you. Perfect for most men unless you have low T.

I agree with you on the game itself…people are going to go to that regardless. But there’s way more focus now on the events of the week leading up to the game. They don’t want bad weather for that because it will keep people away.

I think it’s funny that people on here will complain about new stadiums having roofs/domes on them so they can host events year round and draw a Super Bowl will also crow about the Superdome being the best Super Bowl host site with absolutely no sense of irony or hypocrisy.

They say that mostly due to the superdome’s location with respect to Nola nightlife and restaurants, not the fact it is a dome.
