Because hazing is about domination, and that’s what these kids now think it means to be dominant.

No P5 or upper tier G5 is going to hire him now. He'll be lucky to get a job coaching in high school.

4-20 in the last two seasons.
Really easy to fire a coach already on thin ice. Fitz is a legend at NW, but the last several seasons have been forgettable even by Northwestern standards.

I think I like his position more than I like Huggy's right now.
If we later find out that Fitz himself was putting things up players asses or some crazy shite, I reserve the right to change my opinion

Normally I read stories like this and say: There will be lawyers. But I see there already are lawyers.
My gut tells me this is going to be very expensive for Northwestern. We'll see how it turns out.

In 2023 teams that still participate in hazing clearly show they aren't interested in winning football games.

Let this be a lesson, your employer doesnt give a frick about you, they don't. I don't care how long you have been there, how much good you have done for them, they don't give two shits. Get your money when you can!

Weird lesson to take away from a guy who had 42 mil left on his deal despite going 4-20 the past 2 seasons and tried to cover this story up and give him a 2 week suspension instead

removing only Fitzgerald will do little to solve the problems that he and others experienced. “I believe everyone on that coaching staff needs to be held accountable,” Diaz Jr. said. “I do not believe replacing Fitzgerald with someone on the roster is going to solve the problem, and it’s an insult to the players suffering if president [Michael] Schill goes that direction.”
Haven’t been through the whole thread, but surely this guy gets canned next.
There’s no way this meathead isn’t a huge contributor to the toxic culture & constantly throwing out insults to players
