It's on the bucket list
Was on mine too. Went a few years ago. It was glorious. It’s tiny, cramped, old. But amazing. The entire area is great before a game.
I had a great time and loved the Boston fans.

Finally got to go last month. Sat in the Field box behind home dugout. Boston fans were great, Fenway was a nice park, and the weather was perfect.
Only regret is that we left before singing Sweet Caroline. My kids were falling asleep and we took the train there and didn't want to carry them all the way back.

You want a list of the 15 MLB stadiums that have been statistically more HR friendly than Fenway since 2020?
Red Sox chased the HR with the short left Green Monster for half a Century via player acquisitions... Booming righties. Never paid off until recent memory when they departed from that obsession.
Fenway is a double-triples park, never been a Top 5 "donger" park as certain posters would say and as Yankee Stadium is for Judge.

Best game day experience in baseball... bar none.
Went to a few games there. Best was Schilling vs Clements (as a Yankee) Sunday night game on ESPN about 20 years ago.
Fan-frickingtastic.

Man... those people hate each other.
Yeah, it's visceral. I went in 2006 around that time - Sox were playing the O's but they had a whole booth with Yankee hate merch right outside the stadium.
It was right around the time Johnny Damon went to the Yankees from the Sox - had a t-shirt that said "Johnny Damon - looks like Jesus, throws like Mary, acts like Judas"!!

never been to a game there but took the tour. Sat in the seats behind the dugout during the tour and there is no way I could watch game in those seats. I'm 6'4" and had to sit sideways to try to get my knees to fit. Tour guide basically said if you're over a certain height they will move you out of that section if you make the mistake of buying a ticket there.

I have sat just about everywhere in the stadium.
First, stay away from right field line and outfield. If it is a hot, sunny day, you will get cooked there.
Lower level is generally good, just watch for stadium support poles that can obstruct views.
I have enjoyed the upper deck areas on left field foul line. Seating has just a bit more room and view is generally good, easier concessions, and restrooms. Also, you can watch the green monster seats and sometimes get lucky in late innings sneaking in.
If you can though, seats about 20 rows up behind home plate say from the on deck circle to on deck circle can be magical if its a really good game.

I hate the Red Sox...and even usually will choose the Yankees over the Sox when they are playing, but laughing at any Yankees fan who talks crap about some other stadium. The New Yankee Stadium is hot garbage...no character, terrible sight lines in certain places, overpriced, etc..
As for Fenway, great park and great baseball fans. I used to love the Baseball Tavern (RIP) for pregame...now usually just bar hop
First time I went was in 2004 and they had been on a pretty long winning streak and then they lost the Saturday game we attended and then went on another long streak.

I need to find out where are some of the best places to sit.
frick I'm old.
But seriously, those are pretty good seats.

Didn't they have to install tvs on a wall somewhere in the outfield because they built a restaurant or something that blocked a quarter of the field view? Seem to recall that being a story when it opened.
Fenway and Wrigley have obstructed sightlines, but those are generally for functional reasons based on 110 year old construction. Imagine being the most valuable, richest, franchise in MLB and electively demolishing the stadium where all of your history occurred and making that big of a blunder in your new design.

We have seats for the Astros at Red Sox in early Aug. in Field Box 47 Row H behind home plate. They were a Christmas gift for my son. We cant wait.

The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the seats were made for a$$ sizes of the typical 1920s fan. While the sight lines weren’t great, you could adjust. But for someone who is a little over 6'3" and about 215 lbs., those seats were just f*cking ridiculous.

I’ll be there in Sept for Yankees going back to Fenway.
Can’t wait.
What’s a good bar near Fenway to drink beer with Sox fans?
