I could see New England taking him at 3 simply because he is so suited for cold and windy weather.

That should be a fireable offense.

At this time last year multiple mocks had Levis in the top 10 and Hooker in the 1st round. Mock drafts oversell QBs every year

He has the physical talent.

I mean that’s been said about SO many QBs that weren’t all that spectacular in college but had “the tools”. A lot of them bust. Some turn out good

Maybe he turns out good but I feel it’s a huge gamble taking these raw project QBs in the first round

Well he did play in a more pro-style system whereas most of the top guys are used to spread option/RPO/one read stuff.

QBs have to be able to drop back and make multiple reads extremely quickly. This was the difference between 22 and 23 Daniels.

That's just the media personalities, we don't know how scouts really feel about him. I'm not buying he goes in the first. 2nd or 3rd round would be my guess. His tape this year is bad. His own team didn't believe in him.

Work ethic and leadership are important traits for a QB and by all accounts he has those traits in droves. He looks the part and is a very good athlete and is smart.

Definitely worth taking a risk on in late first early 2nd. Prime Dalton or Tannehill type borderline Pro Bowler wouldn't shock me.

Only Penix can sling it and drop dimes like Quarterbacks used to.

NFL QBs sort of suck now and crappy College recruiting and coaching as the NFL's Minor League made the NFL change its game to "athletes" as QB...and most are average athletes... That can make a few throws...but the precision is gone.

Michigan basically just ran the ball and stuffed people with defense. McCarthy was just there to make a couple good throws run a little.

They need to take Daniels, Penix, or trade for Fields.

Trading for Fields would be such a Falcons move.

Lol. They didn’t believe in him so much, they won the national championship.

Top 3 will go early. The Raiders really like him supposedly. They won’t let him get out of round 1 unless one of the top 3 fall.

He has great acceleration for a guy listed at 6’3. He doesn’t seem like a great passer though.

That pretty much describes all QBs going into the draft, most of them bust, some turn out to be good.

I don’t have my livelihood based on ability to scout football players.
