Most reviews from people that I know actually saw it heard were good. That being said, if you look at most negative reviews, they’re exceptionally politically motivated.
I think it has an 80% delta on Audience and Critic on RT.

Yeah, I hate that shite. I watched it and it wasn’t very good, but it wasn’t some god awful movie deserving of all kinds of hate. I could see people liking it if they were big Reagan fans, and I think it’s mostly historically accurate too. That counts a lot to me as someone with a history degree.

yeah.
to clarify, when i said "they thought it was good" nobody i talked to thought it was an oscar winner, but it wasn't regarded as a hallmark or pluto made for TV "bad" like the critics went on about.
appreciate the even handed response.
