Guess I missed her. She is actually one of the few women comedians that are pretty funny. There are not many.

George Carlin: jammin in New York was one of the first comedy specials that really stuck and resonated with me going into my teens. Probably why it’s still a favorite.

She is one of the funniest of all time. Lewis Black put her through.

A new comedienne that is very funny is Adrian Iapalucci. She is very dark, though. Her last special "Baby Skeletons" is free on Youtube.

Saw Foxworthy do a set before the NFC/AFC party at the Tabernacle. Came out and was destroying the place with current, top of mind football related stuff. Mind you, this was downtown ATL, lots of inner city locals, as it were. Didn't matter, everyone was loving it.

But then he proceeded to work in some of his 'standard' Foxworthy brand humor. The laughter got noticeably more and more quiet. Dude had about 15 minutes of material for a 45 minute set. WAY too long for the situation at hand. Kinda felt sorry for him towards the end,.

Someone didn't think that one through very well.

I recently tried to watch that Eddie Murphy special he did back in the 80s, where he was wearing the red Michael Jackson jacket, and it's unwatchable. ...really unfunny.

Doug Stanhope

He has a few specials on YouTube. They are all worth watching. This is his best work in my opinion.

Dude could be hit or miss. When he hit it was damn good. When he missed his natural self made the comedy. That being said, his comedy is a lot more intelligent than people give it

To quote Charlie Murphy from that special...

I've enjoyed Taylor Tomlinson a lot. She's really good at coming up with stuff as she does crowd interactions.

I've seen some funny clips for Nikki Glaser, but honestly I've seen an entire special or routine of hers so I can't say how funny she is beyond that.

I remember growing up, we'd watching Showtime Comedy Club Network... a LOT of famous comedians got their start on that show:

Not saying she had never made me chuckle but her shtick gets old pretty quick.

Eddie Murphy "Raw" and "Delirious".
Freddie Prinze and Friends from back in the 1970's. (HBO special)
Jay Leno was in it along with Steve Martin and some others.

Those are some damn funny routines from back when people didn't just look for a reason to be offended and everybody laughed at funny shite.

Go find some "In Living Color" episodes from the 90's cable show with the Wayans brothers, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, etc...

That was some good comedy that pulled no punches.

Don Rickles, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, and Eddie Murphy are at the top of my list.

I'll add: Redd Foxx, Robin Harris, Ron White and Steven Wright
