Goldfinger
The Spy Who Loved Me
The Living Daylights
Goldeneye
Casino Royal

After that, you can pick what you like from the rest.

Connery and Brosnan are my top bonds, but I liked both Dalton films

Completely agree actually. That and Skyfall are my 2 favorite Bond movies.

As some others have mentioned…

I’d start with From Russia with Love followed by Goldfinger (both widely considered Top 2-3 Bond movies).

After that you can basically jump around wherever you’d like. But I think if you’ve truly never watched before, it’s probably best to start with some of the early classic Sean Connery movies before jumping to later movies or the modern high action Daniel Craig ones (Casino Royale the best).

My Top 5:
Goldfinger
From Russia with Love
Casino Royale
Live and Let Die
Goldeneye

Sounds like everything that was ever on HBO/Max is already on Netflix. A couple of times a week a Netflixer is posting about a movie or a show I watched on HBO now being on Netflix.

When I was young, the whole George Lazenby thing was weird, but after watching Becoming Bond I had a whole new appreciation for him and that movie.

If you have not seen On Her Majestys Secret Service, please watch that and tell me what you think.

It's one of my favorite under the radar Bond films.

Fantastic movie. Lazenby had a charmed life.

Anyone who starts after Dr. No is not a true Bond fan and should be labeled as a terrorist and a poser.

Casual Bond fans forget about his 1954 television appearance. REAL fans start there.

After, of course, reading all the Fleming novels.

Roger Moore had some great bond movies. IF you grew up in his time, you would love them. He played Bond perfectly.

For your eyes only
The spy who loved me
Live and Let die
Octopussy
Man with the golden gun
Moonraker.

All very good movies

As for what order, Id personally say start from the beginning. Learn what Bond is and how he got there. If you start with Daniel Craig, it is a totally different Bond.

Craig was a great bond but honestly, some of the changes he made, or what made during his time, we not good changes for Bond.

If you cant watch them all, watch one from each period and go from there

Goldfinger
For Your eyes only
License to kill
Golden Eye
Casino Royale

Watched Dr. No yesterday for the first time. Hearing and seeing that beginning theme music and knowing it was the first time people heard that made me smile. I thought it was really good, I know it's dated in lots of ways but I enjoyed it. Gonna watch Russia next. Those two I had never seen. I may watch Goldfinger again as I haven't seen that one in over 30 years.

1962 Dr. No with Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder

Please don't listen to anyone that suggests starting James Bond movies out of order.

I'd definitely do Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger first. After that Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, and For Your Eyes Only. I don't really care for On Her Majesty's Secret Service like others do and would have loved to see Connery in it instead of Lazenby. I do like the Man With The Golden Gun who many dislike. Also, the first 75% of Moonraker is great before it just gets too cheesy and silly in the last 25%.

Each actor puts their own spin on Bond and its just personal preference what you like.

I still haven’t seen and refuse to watch No Time To Die.

Why?

It may be at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to 007 movies, but if you’ve really watched 97% of them why not finish it off and watch all of them?
