Peyton and Eli are EPs on Chad Powers.

He's doing all he can to save cinema.

I thought Hitman was pretty good.

I think he’s trying to cash in on his moment before he’s too old to play these young lead roles. Doesn’t seem to say no to a role these days

The Running Man is actually a Stephen King book and hopefully it’s more true to horror in the remake. It’s actually not a remake I hate.

Good for him cashing in on his current popularity. Hollywood stardom doesn’t last very long for most people, so might as well get in and get yours while you can. Hell, Sam Jackson still says yes to every role he sees and he’s been famous for nearly four decades now.

Just read it again for first time in 25 years. The movie didn’t remotely do it justice.

We've been watching the prequel for years now.

I like him in Twisters and Maverick both times he's set up to be a guy you're supposed to hate but by the end he's your favorite character.

I liked the campy, hilarious movie, especially the Richard Dawson role, but I get what you are saying. The book is great and staying true to it will make for a great "remake." I really liked all of the Bachman books.

He’s on a streak like the Rock was a little while back. Take advantage of it, cause Rock’s run is up now too

I hope he’s aiming higher than being the Rock as an actor

Much different than the Rock.

The Rock made a ton of shitty movies.

Powell's stuff is actually legit.

Of course Rock made some shitty movies, but from 2015-2019 he was pumping out 3-4 a year and most of them made money regardless of shittiness because he was the “it” guy.

That’s all I’m saying, Powell seems to be the “it” guy right now.

Someone needs to offer him a role in a Western for him to cement his status as a "Man's Man".

He'd be great as Jim West, in a good remake of The Wild Wild West!

I loved the Bachman Books...and, while I liked The Running Man movie, I liked the book much better. That being said...when in the hell are they going to make the best Bachman Book "The Long Walk"? I'd be first in line if someone would make it and do the story right.

ETA...holy crap...after posting this, I looked and found out they started filming THIS WEEK on The Long Walk! I've literally been waiting for this for over 35 years.

Honestly bigger news to me than TRM!

Funny thing is the guy came out and said that he turned down a role in the next Jurassic Park movie, even though he liked the script.
He's also supposed to be in a Backdraft remake and he started following the DC brass on social media - so there's rumors he could play Green Lantern or Booster Gold.

The Running Man didn't resemble the book at all, but it was a pretty entertaining movie.
