First time I watched had to read subtitles but the rewatches now on Netflix will be the dubbed version for sure. And it seems pretty well done. Not to mention I’m not watching this particular film for their acting prowess.

Godzilla Minus One Minus Color
I saw the last showing on the last night in theaters. Only one in there and I got out around 1am to an empty lot. Only other soul around was the maintenance guy replacing posters down the hall.
Best movie of the year.

Great movie.
This was the first Godzilla movie where I cared about the people in it. Fantastic job with the story.

At first, that’s what I thought was missing. Then it dawned on me…The voice actors are barely even acting. They’re just reacting to what’s on the script. I didn’t feel the anguish or emotion in their voice.
Kind of tough to do when you’re trying to pair up words and emotions while translating into a different language.

Just watched it, and enjoyed it. My favorite is still Godzilla: King of the Monsters - I'm a big King Ghidorah fan - but this one was good.

Yeah, I know. But since the 60's, I'd like to think a bit more effort could have been made. It's not terrible, but I've seen other dubs recently where they do a fine job getting actors to do more than just read the lines.
Might be over criticizing, just because I'm a fan.
