Is there any chatter about this movie “Primate” that is coming out?

I know chimps are brutal, but grizzlies (and probably other bears) eat you while alive and start with your legs/groin.

seems kind of silly. I've only seen the trailer so I don't know the whole plot. Looks like the chimp is possessed or infected by something that makes it homicidal.
Seems like having an ordinary chimp living in your home is plenty dangerous enough. Don't see the need to have it go on a homicidal rampage too.

Same here...not sure why a Chimp freaks me out more. Maybe bc Chimps have been more humanized with being in movies and shows,
Also they like to go for face and genitalia first in an attack.

the primate aspect so its almost human and the way they would use their hands to injure, they pull things off as opposed to clawing

It’s pretty terrible sadly. But it would be a good one to see for free late at night streaming.

I disagree. I enjoyed it immensely. Great practical effects and an awesome music score. Ben was played by an actor in a suit rather than using CGI. I think that really elevated the movie. If you go in expecting a fun, creature feature with some surprisingly good character development, I think you’ll be pleased. Word to the wise, it’s very gory with some pretty gruesome deaths.
