It looks like they at least spent money on this, which is a plus. Clearly they're going for a Guardians of the Galaxy feel.

What proof do you have that it’s done for comedic purposes?
Dude, you are exhausting.

Because I’m not backing down to these weird pronoun Nazis?
Please explain.
Hollywood is on doing this. They are the ones setting up the rules, enforcing their little agendas into every goddamn scene.

I see Hollywood still hasn't learned their lesson about not sticking to source material.

It's hard to tell from that teaser. It looks like it could be just another CGI fest.

Because you are taking 1 second from a 2 minute trailer and making assumptions and shitting up the thread, like you always do. For a movie you don't even plan on watching. THAT is why you are exhausting and the most disliked person on this board. Hope this clears it up for you.

One second from a scene that is actually in the movie? Actually in the trailer? I didn’t put that scene in there, they did.

The source material...
For He-Man.
Do you remember He-Man? There's not exactly a lot of meat for an origin story there.

That dude ain’t near big enough

None of the cartoon takes place on Earth. Prince Adam grew up on Eternia, not Earth.

This is more timely than the Super Mario Bros movie

You don’t think HE-man haveing “HE/Him” on his seat is a little funny?

People complaining about CGI in these big budget fantasy/sci-fi movies are straight up retarded. I’ll listen to complaints about the quality of CGI but having CGI in general? Get fricked tards lol

I'll take the matte paintings from the 70s and 80s over modern cgi any day

I watched LOTR recently and i feel like they nailed the balance between real practical effects and CGI.
Those movies really held up.

Has an Aquaman vibe to it. I may not go to the theater but I’ll pay when it hits Prime.

Yes I don't like the very obvious tired plot they are shoe horning in
Adam sent to earth as a young child, forgets who he was, now living a boring life, Eternia is in trouble so he has to rediscover his powers and return to save the day.
Been done a thousand times. It's just not interesting.

I'm really surprised that it looks good from the trailer. And yes the he/him thing was a joke and kinda perfect. If anything sensitive HR types should be more likely to be offended
