No season 3 but hey he's gonna be in the movies. I still think somebody bet Gunn he couldn't make a show about this dude.

At least Adebayo and her "wife" came to an understanding.

I assumed that as I fast forwarded thru it.

That was an odd finale. This whole season was very underwhelming. We'll see how the 2026 projects turn out, but right now the DCU is pretty mediocre, IMO.

Someone Reddit nailed it…the biggest reveal during the finale is that the lead singer of foxy Shazam is a white dude

Honest to God I thought it was a black woman

The Foxy Shazam band sucks really hard. So does Nelson. Did we really need black lesbian marriage counseling? At least show us the makeup sex then, it would have brightened up a dud of a finale. Gunn, like Titi Wahtiti, is way less cool than he thinks he is.

Did he even wear the suit this episode? Nobody ate peace and that is lame.

Correct me if I’m wrong but we only saw his actual suit once this season, which was in the first episode

I didn’t think this season was bad per se. The only action sequence I remember of just him was at the DMV. We saw a decent one when they raided the house and when they were escaping from the alt universe. I would have like to have seen more Peacemaker and less rescue Chris. The last episode was out of place. It ended pretty perfectly with him going to prison.

I haven’t clicked on every link in this thread, so I’m not sure what the future is for the Peacemaker series. I actually would like to see more Vigilante. He’s hilarious and a bad arse when he gets a chance.

I think he needs to start acting like an executive and get off social media

It wasn’t awful and still brought some laughs…but overall I’d say it was kind of pointless

To me when you say it’s the lead in for the next Superman movie, something major happens.

Sure you introduced this prison dimension but you could have done that with a 2 minute explanation the next movie.

Just read something on Reddit and makes alot of sense now.

One thing from superman that was odd, out of place and never had any repercussions was hawk girl dropping the foreign leader to his death and nothing happen.

I think hawkgirl could possibly be the next one to be sent to salavation. I which would be pretty cool if that was the vision from the start

I’ve given it a few days and after thinking, it kinda sucked. Not awful but a far cry from the first season.

Only 2 or 3 action shots and has an almost pointless/declining arc for most characters.

Adrienne is the best character and he was completely wasted outside of his stash of drugs and meeting his alternate universe self.

I kept watching hoping that the Peacemaker from Suicide Squad would show up. Killing people with blow darts and exploding bullets with pinpoint precision, etc. … but no, he’s just brooding in his street clothes the whole time. I think there were like 2 action scenes with him this season?

This is supposed to be the same character that said “Nothing like a bloodbath to start the day.”

I’m not saying I hated it, but it just felt like a letdown and it was a lame way to set up the rest of the DCU.

At least we got “bird blindness” out of it. Tim Meadows was the MVP yet again.

And he looked familiar so I had to do a search. He was the strange white guy in the Macklemore video for Downtown.

The finale was disappointing but these “Watch Parties” Gunn does on Threads are really interesting. Kind of just going behind the scenes of the episodes. Talking about how the first thing they shot for S2 was the Lex cameo, and the second thing was the stuff at the Pentagon, both because of Superman. First thing the actress shot as Bordeaux was the Pentagon stuff. Chris Hardwick making a cameo as a mechanic just because he was visiting set that day, so on and so forth
