Why you say that?

When I saw it, I fricking loved it, but all of my friends thought it was garbage. I don't know anyone who liked the movie. It just surprised me that you like it so much.

1. The Empire Strikes Back
1a. Star Wars
1b. Return of the Jedi
2. The Outlaw Josey Wales
3. The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
4. Unforgiven
5. Pulp Fiction
6. The Count of Monte Cristo

At this point, it could be any one of many movies. Fight Club, Snatch, X Men 2, Swordfish, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, too many to name.

But the top 6 remain the same.

Not many people I know saw it either. I can tell you that it's the best movie from this decade in my opinion. Just....awesome filmmaking.

Love this list. Lot of great classics that all seem to compliment each other in some way or another. Good Bad and the Ugly is a masterpiece (Though I prefer West), and Unforgiven is Eastwords best film

Empire is flawless as far as I'm concerned and the other two Star Wars films are great as well.

Most people on here couldn't even make it through this one (or most Tarkovsky films for that matter). He's not one of my favs, but I respect having him on your list.

Tarkovsky's movies are not made for everyone and even he understood that. That's part of its appeal to me. He makes movies that HE would want to see and not want he believes the mainstream wants to see and I respect him for that. And in the end he makes truly deep human tales that require effort and attention but won't be forgotten after a week. He is a true artist and one of my favorites.
