It is a Hail Mary to save the MCU. Disney had to do something big to move the needle after all the recent box office disappointments. People love Downey and will come out to see him regardless of the role. And Dr Doon is one of, if not the best, Marvel villains.
Also bank on Thor, Star Lord(Pratt), and maybe even Evans coming back. This will get the excitement back for the whole universe.
As long as Disney keeps their wokeness in check they should be able to print money here. We will see if they are still able to do that.

It’s a gamble and he quite literally built the marvel machine they’ve been coasting on for years. The Russo bros did a great job balancing all those characters in Infinity War/Endgame so that gives me hope but it’s a transparent attempt to get people back in the saddle.

So who are the avengers in this? F4 aren’t part of that team. Brie Larson seems done with CM. You got Sam as CA I guess, but who else is there?
