Just finished it and wow. I enjoyed part one, so it's odd that I think the show is just spinning in circles now. It's non-stop fast paced, upside down in every scene, action/thriller/messaging shitstorm tedium.
This show needs to self-destruct.

Yeah, I think I feel about the same way as most of the board does. This season is fine, but it doesn't have the magic of previous seasons. The acting, writing, and chemistry (aside from Dustin and Harrison) just isn't there.
And, as someone else mentioned, I hate what feels like repetitive scenes. I feel like we've watched Will/Joyce and Eleven/Hopper have the exact same conversation about 4-5 times each over the course of this season.

I’m watching this party now and it feels like Will is gathering everyone to announce he has terminal cancer or something and the other characters are crying like it’s his last night on earth . Nope. He’s just gay.

Sorry to pile on, but yeah I don't see why these fricks have to ruin shows with this nonsense. Even Holly is in love with the black dude, Josh, apparently. The Robin stuff made no sense as it seemed a sure thing her and Steve would hook up, but nah they went the shoehorn route. Ok frick it, move on. The Will gay shite wasn't necessary, like Robins, but we really needed 2 different people in a 80s timeframe from the same group gay? And his gayness saves the day? Come on.
Outside of that, the writing has fallen off a cliff. I know we all loved S1 because of nostalgia and so it's expected the following seasons may not be as good, but this shite is bad. It's either boss bitch, homo, racial, stupid guys, or bad plot devices lately. It's a shame. I'm really hoping they can stick the landing on the finale. I've never actually gone through and rewatched this series and once it's all done I wanted to do that because I know I've missed a lot of stuff. Now, I'm not sure.

You seriously are out of your mind. Sadie is good in her own right, but Noah clears all of them, seriously go watch him in season 1 and now. He was the best then and he’s only gotten better.
