Finally some end in sight for my 7 month episode of strep. Next Wednesday I'm having my tonsils taken out and I'm being told to take off work a minimum of 10 days. Need some suggestions on things to watch to keep me somewhat entertained.

I already plan on a band of brothers rewatch. Possibly game of thrones. Cobra Kai new season.

I enjoy most war stuff, space, things like breaking bad and better call Saul.

Thanks in advance, sort of desperate, I've never sat down for a day much less 10

Out of curiousity, why are your tonsils coming out?

Had a discussion in the office the other day about how when i was young everyone had thier tonsils removed and now no one does. What happened with that?

I've been through the ringer, got strep in February and since then I have been on 9 rounds of antibiotics, steroids, etc. nothing helped. CT scan, MRI revealed I have embedded tonsil stones and the thought is the stones are inoculated with strep. I have felt like shite for months, it's starting to affect my blood pressure and kidney function now too.

This is a miserable recovery for adults. I hope you are able to get a lot of rest and comfort.

Twin Peaks, but only the David Lynch directed episodes. Preferably with some pain pills.

Hope all goes well for you. My brother almost waited too long to call his doctor with post op bleeding and ended up in ICU. Make sure to monitor.
