I've watched 3 episodes...at the end of the third episode last night it suddenly dawned on me that this show is not good...I'm not gonna watch anymore,

That made me laugh too, I was halfway watching while on my phone and had to ask my wife if I saw it right

The show is a terrible fake. I didn’t hear one n word and I could understand what all the “desire” street gang people were saying.

Started watching. Slow is pretty good. But the son falling for the linebacker daughter doesn't make sense.
He has that hot teacher around his finger. Why get involved with the sister of the guy you killed?
I'm on episode 6, BTW.

I've been in that Court room.
Its at The Ranch in Chalmette. An old Lowe's. I went there right before Covid.
If you watch...at the end of Season One the masks show up :(

Watching now
Good so far only on episode 2
I’ve already started to pick it apart.
Is he in high school and sleeping with his teacher?
They wake up together in his room first scene and the dad is out for a run. She leaves. How? In her car? Wouldn’t the dad wonder whose car or did she Uber?
They didn’t seem nervous at all about getting caught. Weird.

Entertaining that they chose to pattern the mob boss couple after Morticia and Gomez.
I am watching it now (and of course not from LA) but my wife and I wondered why they would have a crime boss named Baxter.
Not a name I would equate with a long time resident of LA.
I said at least his name wasnt Thurston Howell III

I didn't see the actions of the finale coming.
Though I guess Adam won't have a sugar momma in New York.
Man that 18 year old had the life. Live in Uptown near TU based on architecture probably Palmer or Calhoun.
Had a dad who was a judge so you have a get out of jail free card. Banging a cute girl next door early 20s teacher who wants to be with you in NY.
Only downside is he drives a Volvo 240 (my first car as well, I had a sedan. So slow a VW beetle had me off the line) and likes the square Jarred mobster daughter.
The way he reacted in every episode upset me.

Watching this. Season 2, Episode 3. The black lady gangster boss buys a bar. The owner she's buying it from is the SPITTING IMAGE of what I would imagine Ed Orgeron's younger, thinner brother would look like.
It's uncanny. Makes me wonder if it's some sort of yaw yaw bloodline thing.

The wife kept watching, and I am in the room, so I sorta paid attention. I actually like season 2 because the aspects of season 1 I did not like are gone. Same thing happened to us in Bloodline. The lies and cover ups just make me too uncomfortable to enjoy.

A New Orleans mob boss with a last name of Baxter?
They briefly mentioned the wife having the "powerful" family and him coming from nothing; mentions her maiden name as Rossi.
I do still doubt, however, him having the first name Rocco.
Overall, show is okay but it kinda gets repetitive. It's hard not to compare it to Breaking Bad for obvious reasons, but where BrBa was always able to keep the conflict feeling "new", Your Honor just feels like a really really drawn out resolution of the initial conflict. Idk if that makes sense or not

That's as good as the opening to Young Sheldon who is in East Texas, probably near Huntsville or Livingston based on their distance from Houston, and hey show them all looking off into the distance with a background that looks a little like the Grand Canyon and that part of Arizona.
I'm on episode 4 of season 1. I'm liking it pretty well. I don't expect that most of my shows are realistic.

There is no way a mob-criminal boss would let his wife treat him that way in real life as she does in this show & I realize she thinks she can do this because her husband took over for her father in the family “business”.
I look at it as the media continuing to emasculate men in TV & movies to promote female “empowerment”. There is a lot of this in this show.

The Judge's house was on Felicity. I used to live right there on Orange and Magazine. I believe in one or two scenes you can see the Orange St. street sign. He jogged all over the Lower Garden District. In fact, Jennifer Coolidge's house is very close by.

I am struggling with this show as well just like the other posters.
My SO (not from Nola)loves it though so I be listening watching- its too much.
She is an episode or 2 away from 1st season finale.
I see they cancelled it

It's an okay show, but the story line wanted in season two, and you were basically ready for it to be over by the end. They left story lines open for a possible season 3, but there won't be one. It was just okay.

Just finished it last night. Overall, it held my attention so it was a good watch.
The geographic inconsistencies drove me crazy, but that’s not an issue for anyone not from NOLA. They spent way too much time driving across the CCC, without any mention of the WB or Algiers. The FQ to Oak/Carrollton scene made me laugh.
They must have wanted Wendell Pierce to play Charlie, but when they couldn’t get him they found someone similar.
I didn’t think the accents were that bad.
They explained Jimmy Baxter by saying he was Irish or Scottish or something and married into an Italian mob family, I think their last name was supposed to be Conti? The actor who played Gina’s dad couldn’t get his accent together. I assume he’s Spanish based on his role in Breaking Bad and he’s supposed to be Italian in this show, but his accent in this show was all over the place.
The season 2/series finale felt very rushed. Blatantly rushed. I guess they had to.
It was a good binge. I would recommend it with a few caveats.
