My first ever rock concert. March 4, 1983 in Biloxi. This was the Speak of the Devil tour with Brad Gillis on guitar.
Vandenburg was the opener.

Saw him the next year (June 6, 1984) in Biloxi on the Bark at The Moon tour and Jake E Lee on guitar. Accept was the opener.

I had tickets twice to see Ozzy and Motley Crue as openers in Mobile on the Bark at The Moon tour. Both times the shows were cancelled.

Saw Sabbath on their reunion tour in the 2000s out in Houston. Got into Sabbath via the RDJ "Live Evil" album (which rocks), but also appreciated the early Sabbath years. Their debut album is a monster.

Sabbath rocked, regardless of Keith Richards' opinion of them.

Had Tickets in 82 when Ossie banned Ozzy. Cost me chance to see Randy Rhoads.

1983 at the State Fair Grounds on Airline with, Blue Oyster Cult, LeRoux and Vandenberg. Lake E Lee on lead for Ozzy.

At UNO with Alice in Chains in 1993. Zakk Wylde on lead for Ozzy.

Sadly, never got to see Black Sabbath

Ozzfest 2002

Main stage

Ozzy Osbourne
System of a Down
Rob Zombie
P.O.D.
Drowning Pool (cancelled on August 14 after death of lead singer Dave Williams)
Adema
Black Label Society
Tommy Lee (started August 22)

Things I remember. Tommy Lee is a horrible "singer". Rob Zombie and System of a Down put on an incredible show. I was never a huge Ozzy solo fan but appreciated his showmanship. Zack Wylde had some incredible stamina to play two sets in one night; night after night.

Gillis is still as badass as ever. I saw Night Ranger last weekend at a county fair and they played Crazy Train.

Sam Houston Coliseum. Diary of a Madman tour (1982). I believe it was January or February because Randy died in a plane crash not long after the Houston show.

saw him at Pensacola Civic Center in 1995

i was paid to be there

the PCC management put a clause in his contract that he would be responsible for any damage to the arena caused by his performance, and hired a friend of mine to videotape the show with a single camera

my wife tagged along, because she didn’t like the idea of me going stag to an Ozzy concert

nothing much happened, except some chick with huge tits took off her tube top and jumped up and down for the entire show

afterward, my wife commented, “i bet she’s gonna be sore tomorrow”

Saw him in 2018. Not a huge Ozzy or Sabbath fan or anything, just a fan of music and such in general. Due to wife's job, I have free access to any shows that come through, so will try to catch anything I can. Had to go see him just because it was Ozzy. He actually very much surprised me with how good the music was compared to the condition you would see him dating back to his reality show. Was as quality as any aging classic rock band that comes through. Zakk Wylde was also impressive to see live.
