I just don't see Houston taking Westbrook back, even if it means getting off Wall. They're not looking to buyout anyone, and they don't want a guy taking minutes from their young players, and Westbrook won't be happy sitting at home not playing.

I wonder if the Lakers are aiming too high or if other teams want to watch them squirm.

Probably has more to do with them trying to get a high end return for those offers. THT is overpaid and Nunn is still injured and hasn't played this season yet. They're delusional.

I’d assume the former rather than latter. Knowing the Lakers they have probably made those offers for guys like SGA, Mikal Bridges, and LeMelo Ball and can’t fathom why teams would turn them down.

Here’s a trade that works for everyone:

Bulls get - Nunn, THT, 2 future 1sts, 2 future pick swaps

Lakers get - Caruso

That would be hilarious after effectively choosing THT over Caruso

I mean if it's only seconds they are offering, it's just not a good haul to begin with.

It's one of those maybe you take them for little or nothing at the deadline as a consolation prize, but the Lakers want actual contributing players and I cant think of a team that would do that

Our backups just gave Philly a much better game than the Lakers did tonight. The Sixers are up 20 with 5 and a half minutes left.

Edit: With 2:41 left, Westbrook has 3 assists and 6 turnovers. L. O. freaking L.

Unfortunately they are still at 13th in the lottery. They need more injuries to fall further. We need them down to 9 to feel reasonably secure about keeping the pick.

once upon a time mlb all stars were picked by fans 100%. the entire Cincinnati fielders were selected. many were future hofers but every starter won.
they changed formula and rules after that.

wiggins has notably improved defense since his trade.
hell be out there with morant and jokic. should get layups and dunks off passes.

i do not assert wiggins as best small forward in west.

It's not a deep field. Ingram has primarily played PF this year. But he should have been a starter, especially over Wiggins. But Wiggins has a good claim at a spot on the team. James is a PF. George and Leonard are hurt. Doncic and Booker are SGs. There just aren't a ton of guys to pick from..

46% at SG
47% at SF
7% at PF

Per basketball reference

Herb has started at PF for the pels since basically opening night.

Gonna be a gut punch if that picks falls right outside the top ten just to get of Adams contract….
