They took out a stretcher for this little bitch and it’s an ankle sprain and he could be back in like 2 weeks

We all know that he'll be out at least a month, tho.

That’s the thing though. He crumbles to the floor like a sack of potatoes and writhes around, moaning and wailing like he just got his testicles ripped off by Subzero…

And then is back 3 games later.

Right before the ASB I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back right after it with none or minimal games missed.

Not sure how true but I heard someone say AD has laid and rolled on all 30 nba floors with an injury concern

Anthony Davis has a mid-foot sprain and will be evaluated again in four weeks, team says.

Was coming here to post this---at least we have something to celebrate. If they are saying 4 weeks for a normal man, its going to be like 6 weeks for B-Boy

Top 10 pick, here we come

forbes on trading davis

quote:

As such, it would take only one team to ignore the injuries and buy in to the allure of who he can be. More than likely, several teams could be enchanted with the idea of adding Davis to their team, especially if they operate in a smaller market.

(That noise you just heard was Pelicans fans doing an "Irony" chant.)

Should the Lakers take control of their own future, and put Davis on the market, they could likely fetch a haul that would re-stock their cupboard with some intriguing draft options, while also getting back either young players or solid veterans who can assist LeBron James in trying for one more championship.

Make no mistake, such a roster would be put together with a ton of duct tape, but moving off Davis and Westbrook in the right deals could provide Los Angeles with more depth, which has been a need this season.

(THAT noise was Wizards fans laughing and rejoicing at all the depth they received in the Westbrook trade last summer.)

AD Lakers Injury Comp
This is genuinely sad in the funniest way imaginable. Dude has been with the lakers for what, 2.5 seasons? And he already has a 5 minute compilation of him rolling around on the ground of every NBA team’s court. Brandon Ingram > Anthony Davis

what a hilarious video.
This dumbass is getting exactly what he wanted, more publicity. He just didn't realize how much it would backfire like the majority of pelicans fans knew it would b/c of his baby back bitch arse always over exaggerating every bit of contact into the worst injury of all time.
Idiot missed 2 weeks b/c he dunked a basketball and his elbow felt funny, on his left fricking arm.
Seeing him completely sit out of a play on multiple occasions b/c he got a bobo on his left thumb is the most AD'st thing out there.

What I would give to have our injury prone star rolling his ankle in an actual game

Hypothetically speaking, who is even making that trade?

I'm not saying he wouldn't fetch some stuff, but I struggle to find what trade may even be out there that brings back enough stuff that Lebron would be able to compete for a chip?

Cause he'd need another all star level player minimum, but then AD would also have to fetch a bunch of nice role players to help the Lakers build better roster synergy.

I dont see a trade like that for AD. What I see with AD is probably a team like the Jazz, if they flame out, maybe willing to break off Gobert to try something else(but even that I'm not certain they would do yet). But that plus pieces isn't getting Lebron a legit contender.

I honestly struggle to see a path for the Lakers and....good

I could see Knicks sending Randle and a couple 1sts.

Maybe Portland giving up some stuff to pair him with Dame.

Utah giving up Rudy in an attempt to please Mitchell.

Charlotte to pair with Ball.

Chicago probably gives Vuc and Ball?

Suns give up Ayton and Bridges?

Don't really think there's much more unless Morey wants another big name. I doubt Celtics would be interested now that Stephens is in charge.

That would maybe be the best trades and maybe, maybe the second one could make the Lakers a tough out

But those seem like what the offers I would expect, and none of them really give Lebron a contender.

Honestly I genuinely think he goes back to Cleveland to "retire," which, tbh, would arguably be a deeper team than the one he had in Cleveland. No one at the level of Kyrie, but Garland, Mobley, Lebron, and Allen, with shooters around, would be a formidable team....Assuming Lebron's body can hold up at high level past next season.

Yeah I could see that.

Still, not sure how it gets the sort of return the Lakers would want that on net makes them a stronger contender

I want this just so we can visit the trade full circle.

In essence, lakers trade Ingram, hart, and eleventy 1s for Vuc and an AAU championship, lol.

OK, OK, I guess we could give up Graham and Temple and a 2nd-round pick.

I kid, but the Lakers are getting crap back in an AD trade.
