Personally, I kinda feel like the world has sadder stories to sympathize with than the tragedy that Bronny James might not have a great college experience, but hey ....

bad teams will draft him much higher than he should for 1 year of the Lebron gravy train.

got to disagree on that.
put aside lebonk just presuming that any team that make roll the dice on his kid would even want him on their team, it would be a circus of the absurd during the season. Particularly since the kid is unlikely to play much and lebron would be 40. No thanks

Think of it from a business perspective. You add LeBoo and his son and what do the season ticket sales look like? Even if you suck, it’s money in the bank.

No he has athleticism like his dad and is already 6’5 if I remember right. He will be a late lottery pick at worst

LeBron being a coach is might be more valuable than him playing. This is the smartest dude in the NBA besides CP3

He's not 6'5 and he's nowhere near as athletic as Lebron at the same age, not even in the same stratosphere.

He's also around the 40th ish ranked prospect in his class, so I'm not sure how that equates to a late lottery pick "at worst"

What does reading books have to do with basketball smarts?

I mean, it's not exactly a wild statement to say that Lebron and CP3 are the 2 smartest players in the NBA.

No link but just got a Bleacher Report notification that Klutch is unhappy with the lakers, and it reached a boiling point when Pelinka turned down the Westbrook-Wall trade.

You hate to see it!!!

Unfortunately it was the right call. They'll get a better return on an expiring Westbrook and the 2027/29 picks than the Wall and Gordon for Westbrook/THT 2027 pick. But I wonder if they even do that. You'd basically be trading the rest of your future betting that something like Dame/LeBron/AD would get a ring in the next 2 years. If you're wrong it might be 2030 before the Lakers get to do a proper rebuild.

Just funny they're in this mess because Lebron and Klutch made the Westbrook deal happen.

I don't know about that. There are tons of ways to get picks and mine talent. You can basically buy late 1sts and any 2nd. If you have tons of space, other teams will reward you to use it. The Nets were able to do it. Team has to get lucky and hit on some random picks..

The Lakers’ biggest problem, IMHO, will be any attempt to bring along younger talent while LeBron is still on the team.

LeBron isn’t very patient with trying to teach kids how to play and is going to push to flip those kids for aging vets at the first opportunity.

The problem with James is the players he thrives with aren't the ones he likes or wants to hang with. High effort, selfless players that help him shine. He has found tons of those throughout his career. But they are expendable and he wants to play with friends that clash with his playing style. It has happened over and over again..

Which is why he should not have been allowed to play GM after his first run in Cleveland.

Maybe we take him with pick 30 when we win the championship in 2024

You are either one contrarian arse dude or simple AF.

It’s a colloquialism.

and with the 23rd pick of the 2025 nba draft, the New York Knicks select the right to sign Lebron James.
