Do we want Memphis or SAS to win...that is the question. I assume memphis is favored but haven't looked

spurs worry me (past trauma)

lakers are going to lose to the jazz most likely, then the pels can make some space with a win on friday

I go Spurs. That 10th pick is the top priority IMO.

And with us having pretty solid odds to finish ahead of the Lakers, it matters a tad less if the Spurs finish ahead of us with the difference obviously being a road game in the 10th seed as opposed to 11th seed(if Lakers were ahead of us)

I tend to agree, although the Spurs losing a game and giving us some padding wouldn't make me pass out or anything.

Could care less if we are 9th or 10th as long as we are getting the Lakers pick, and if you said you can be 10th and the lakers pick will be 8th or you can be 9th and the lakers luck is 9th, I’ll take the higher pick from the lakers in a heartbeat.

Yeah, once you secure the Lakers pick you're playing with house money.

If you lose in the Playin the Devonte 1st becomes the CJ 1st and you save a future 1st.

If you win your way in, you made the playoffs without Zion (probably). And if Zion traveling isn't just for show, maybe he's ready during the 1st round. If that happens who knows where this ride ends.

We seem to play the Spurs better in San Antonio

that's correct, and that is ideal.
I don't want to have to give up the 25 pick from Milwaukee. Not that i think it'll be a good pick, but more so b/c it's an asset that can make us better in a trade.

Off topic a bit but I saw a tweet that said if we do manage to keep both picks, Pels get in the top 4 and Lakers in top 10...we will have traded those 2 picks a total of 3 times AND then kept them for next season.

That's pretty impressive.

It is but it's not quite as clean as it seems. Memphis and Charlotte both get 2nds in that scenario, but Portland gets a future 1st, I believe the 2025 Bucks pick top 4 protected.

That last bucks pick is the one that will have a lot of value but you never know with injuries.

I just really hate the idea of giving up a first for Graham to be fodder for the suns without Zion. If Zion can play, then I’d say let’s roll with it and eat that first…..

frick picks. Take your lumps against the Suns and have our young core experience something other than losing. Memphis was an 8 seed that lost in 5 games. Look where they are now.

We are done playing the draft pick bullshite game. It is awesome we will get the Lakers pick, but we are ready to compete now.

Spurs just loss to the Grizz by one point.

They had the win gift wrapped for them, but Keldon Johnson missed a layup with two seconds left. Memphis grabbed the rebound and time expired. A lay-up, y'all. A LAY-UP.

HE MISSED A GD LAY-UP. HOW TF DO NBA PLAYERS MISS WIDE OPEN LAY-UPS?!?

Guess we can't count on them to beat anyone but Portland.

This is a tremendous stretch to say that was wide open. I’d say it was heavily contested. Closer to a foul than wide open

He had free run right to the rim. That was wide open by NBA standards.

that might be all we need tbh. But that’s only if we beat the lakers Friday.
