honestly i dont mind it being the spurs. They're one of the smallest markets in the league and have tons of success. They should be who we model after

Spurs with that big man lottery luck.

This kills the rigged narrative when the small market teams keep getting the biggest names.

Yea. Vassell, Keldon, Sochan, and Wemby is a hell of a team. If Branham continue his growth from the games he flashed towards the end of the season, they have a very good squad.

You can make any team rigged.

Keeping small market teams alive is essential to the league. RIGGED

Add that with an amazing coaching staff. I really like their team. Their bench isn’t bad either.

The only thing they're literally missing is a generational star in the frontcourt. That team is so good now.

you could say the same thing for about 2/3 of the entire league.... this statement is so vague....

look, Wemby and Sochan are some nice pieces, for sure, but they are a good ways off from being good, bro...

Wemby is such a Spurs type of player. Hopefully, Pop doesn’t bubble wrap him like Griff does Zion.

What are the Blazers going to do with that 3rd pick?

Lillard doesn't want to do a rebuild. The Blazers best 3 players are guards. Are they trading Lillard away?

Yeah some good young pieces but less than what Houston, OKC, Orlando, even Detroit would've had if they won the lottery. Also Pop is 75 so Spurs stability/infrastructure might not mean anything soon.

You clearly don't know how good Vassell and Keldon Johnson are making statements like that.

Just like that, we have the worst future in our division.

I keep Dallas ahead of us bc Luka is still the best player in the division.

What a dumb take. CJ and JV contracts ends after next year. We just need to stay healthy. We already got 2 stars surrounded by a bunch of solid players with trey and herb.

Duncan and Robinson were not raw coming in. They were fully developed players. Their rookie years, the team had huge turnarounds. The Spurs are not good at developing young projects..

The least deserving team gets Wemby. And we get to play him 4 times a year for the next 15-20 years. Cool.

They have the perfect counter to defend Zion now. You can put Sochan on him to be pesky and have Wemby protect the rim behind him.

I think we'll have to lean heavily towards Lively in the draft. We have nothing on the roster that can even remotely come close to matchup with Wemby's skill set.
