At the moment, Prince...but will quickly develope into a better defensive player than Prince was, if he hasn't already passed him... & Prince was a very good one. Plus...he will evolve, starting next year, into a very solid offensive player & to be honest, I still have NO idea what his offensive ceiling is...but it's gonna be much higher than most everybody thinks. MUCH higher.

I don’t have a clear player in mind for Herb but I will say that Jose reminds me of Tyrann Mathieu at LSU.

Michael Cooper, Stacey Augmon, and Tayshon Prince are his comps. I think those are his floor comps at this point.

His ceiling is much higher than any of those guys.

Herb is cold blooded. This series has proven that. He's got some mamba mentality, but not in the ball hogging sense of the term.

Physically Prince

Skills Pippen. (At least I believe that’s what he will develop into)

Totally agree

Pippen was a much better offensive player but that’s not what people remember most about him

When Scottie got to the Bulls, he wasn't a threat offensively. It took a few years for his offensive game to develop. Once Pippen became a polished offensive player to go along with his outstanding defense, is when the Bulls really took off.

This should bring fear to everyone in the NBA & I totally agree. He has a ton ability to grow with his offensive game. Defensively, he will only get better when strengthens & adds muscle to his frame.

*Kidding, it’s therapeutic to answer any question this way though.

First 5-10 lbs he adds will also help him finish through contact at the hoop plus the obvious help on the defensive end. I don't compare him to Pippen because, believe it or not, Herb is ALREADY a better 3-pt shooter than Pippen was & Pippen was a career 70% FT shooter and Herb shot 83% his rookie season so...

FWIW: I'm not sure they will even WANT Herb to develope a mid-range game, just shoot the 3...or go all the way to the hoop & finish or kick-out...AND importantly, develope a "floater". The "no mid-range" is probably a good thing for Herb since I think he will have a full plate (offensively) trying to develope all those other phases of his game next year. And as you said, his defense will only get better & better.
