And Zion has been playing better.
He had 2 really bad games before he had 1 and a half good games.
That's about par for the course for Zion this season.
You do this everytime. Zion has a good game and you shout from the rooftops that he has finally figured out, only for him to make you look like a total loser with a couple of clunkers his next games out.
Just take a wait and see approach instead of always feeling the need to convince everyone that all is fine and dandy in casablanca.

I mean I said spin cycle in all caps. I was only being semi serious.
I agree, he's got to play like this for several consecutive games before its really a real thing, but two things are different today than they have been earlier this season: his conditioning and usage are better.

Hawks? Why am I taking the ball out of Trae Young’s hands to give to Ingram?
It's not that, it's that you feel he and young can coexist where young and Murray couldn't.

It would be an assumption you need to win now to keep lamelo happy and you don't view guys like bridges and miler as good overall.
Even stupid high usage rate players like Luka need a 2nd guy.
For those teams, they have to view Brandon Ingram as that guy who can Co exist with another star.
Klutch aside, if Murray isn't a headcase he is probably one of the most cost effective guards available in his prime.

The Pelicans are also known to have made a serious offer for Mikal Bridges and were likewise rebuffed. Two league sources said the Nets have claimed multiple offers of five first-rounders for Mikal Bridges, but I'm pretty skeptical on that front. One, it might be five "firsts" with swaps and/or heavily protected picks, and if the offer was really five firsts, why share that and then continue to say they are not interested in trading Mikal Bridges?
Jalen Green's recent improved play (30 points, seven rebounds and four assists over his last five games) has cooled talk of Houston potentially moving on from the No. 2 pick, though several sources said he was a key component in early talks between the Rockets and Nets for Mikal Bridges.
More Matt Moore with Pels info. I agree with him, why do they keep saying “he’s not available, not even for 5 picks!” After saying you turned down 4 picks before. Not saying Bridges is getting traded, but usually it’s a simple “not even listening”.

If BI wasn’t in that trade proposal then I’d rebuff the Pelicans too.
The problem becomes if he was, that means the league sees Mikal > BI haha or at least the Nets do!

I'm wondering if that offer is trey, Dyson, filler for money, and multiple firsts.
However maybe that's when the herb leaks came in because they want him more than Dyson?
Itll be interesting to see because these leaks are a bit much

Ingram and picks for Mikal and Claxton would solve so many issues for the pels.
Mikal knows how to play his role unlike BI and Claxton would be the mobile rim protector we’re looking for.
CJ Herb Mikal Zion Claxton would be nasty.
Have JV off the bench to go against bigger centers.

This would make me so happy there’s no way it’ll happen lol. We don’t get good things.

Seriously. Even if you gave Claxton 25m/yr, I think he gets like 20m/yr, the cap sheet would still be so much cleaner than what it is now.
We’d be 9 million under the tax next year with only 3 spots to fill.
I would do Ingram + Lakers 24/25 1st + Bucks 27 1st + Pels 24 1st for Mikal and Claxton in a heartbeat.

I would definitely go all in and do that trade. Even send them Dyson if needed.
I would then look to keep JV also on hopefully a reasonable deal.
That is definitely in the realm of a good deal in my opinion.
Jones and Bridges focused on guarding the other team’s best wings/guards would be ridiculous.

Would never happen. They'd want Hawkins and probably trey too

Well that is just insane and unreasonable.

Yeah that’s kind of crazy. There’s no way they’d expect that for Bridges. BI is not far from Bridges level and we’re giving them 3 FRPs in this trade. I’d throw in more assets but Trey and Hawkins? That’s crazy.

"They are telling everybody no on Mikal Bridges. From the day they got Mikal Bridges, they’ve been offered a ton: four picks, five picks. There’s nowhere he doesn’t fit, but they love Bridges there, they wanna bring in the next big player. Everybody wants to play with MIkal Bridges and so you hope that they want to do it in Brooklyn.”
(Via The Woj Pod)
Bridges is a Pippen and not a Jordan, so it probably is true that other stars would want to play with him, but looking down the disgruntled stars list the only hope they would seem to have is Donovan Mitchell. This has to be propaganda and not their actual plan.

I just find it odd they don’t want to trade him but we constantly hear rumors about offers for him. I feel like Nets are secretly wanting to trade him and leaking maybe previous rumors to increase his trade value. If a star is untouchable- you dont hear these rumors about teams offering all these picks for him. I honestly think Bridges is more gettable than people think.

Bulls are apparently wanting 2 first round picks for Caruso. Not sure if they can get that or not, but my question is...would we trade Herb for 2 first round picks?

Yeah i don't get it. Bridges is on a fantastic deal right now but he's already 27 and has 2 more years on his deal after this year.
They can have cap space to sign a star in the summer of 2025 but that means wasting this year and next year(they're still gonna suck next year) of bridges' cheap deal.
Cam Johnson is already 27 and they're paying him like 25m/yr.
Claxton is a free agent this summer and is gonna demand a lot.
They have a ton of win now players for a team that's losing a whole lot.
They should trade bridges to houston and get their picks back. Then trade the rest of their win now guys like Cam Johnson, DFS, and Royce O'neale.
They're the 8th worst team in the league with all these guys. Adding Donovan Mitchell isnt gonna turn them into a contender

I mean its hard to answer that because the bulls and pelicans are on different paths. Bulls are trying to stockpile picks and we’re trying to win now. Trading Herb for 2 firsts seems like a great deal but in trying to win now it makes no sense. Personally, I think they’ll eventually unload Caruso for one first.

Now? Absolutely not
If we're blowing it up? Yeah probably
