They're still a really bad road team even with VanVleet. Don't see that changing. They were barely .500 with him so I don't think he moves the needle enough to get them ahead of the Lakers or Warriors.

I realized this a few hours after I posted lol. Jazz are letting George develop, he wouldn’t play for us either. Hawkins not getting 12-15 minutes is honestly criminal considering he’s a fricking perfect fit for the future of this team. You have to hope they keep developing on defense but man you couldn’t really draw up a better duo of shooters to pair with Zion in Hawk and Trey. Naji is a damn good role player but Hawk needs minutes, end of story.

Giving him 10 minutes a game isn't gonna hurt either. the gravity may even help zion and BI function inside

I want more Hawk minutes too. Board puts this on Coach Green but he has big backcourt minutes to distribute between BI, Zion, CJ, Herb, Trey, before even getting to Hawk, Jose, and Naji.

Lebron sat out a pre-ASB game with an ankle injury, played in the all-star game, and is now sitting out again with the same ankle injury. Can you imagine the outrage if Zion did that?

Good point.

Hell, there was outrage last season over that, and Zion didn't even play in the AS game. It was pre-outrage, if you will.

frick lebron. Almost everyone shares a hatred for Draymond but at least he’s authentically an a-hole. Lebron is the fakest motherfricker I’ve ever seen. This dude was just quoted saying he was never good with accepting praise

Dallas got better over the trade deadline. They're going to be a tough out.

Warriors look good, but Klay Thompson is so washed up it is sad.

Which is weird because you would think spot up shooting wouldn’t really age. His game should last cause it’s not very physical. Could just be a down season

Not disagreeing with you but Melo was a shot creator. He had to work for his looks, Klay is a C&S guy and has the luxury of having Steph to pull defenders from him. It could be the leg injuries but it’s weird seeing him shoot this poorly. I’m not convinced he’s washed just yet

Tip my cap to Klay. He's done everything he could to come back, but milage, with ACL and Achilles tears eventually come due.

It happened to JJ Redick for us a few years ago. Shot just vanished.

Y’all do realize Klays down year is averaging 17ppg on 37% 3P shooting.
He didn’t lose his shot. The Warriors just suck. Wiggins is having his worst year of his career. CP3 signing was a bust as he’s played half the season, and Draymonds dumbass has only played half the season and he sucks. Looney sucks too.
They had picks at #2, #7 and #14. Two of them are worthless and the other doesn’t seem to want to take the reins he’s being given.

And Klay is 34 years old. He doesn’t move like he used to and there’s literally no one else on the team other than Steph that any defense gives a shite about.
Where Klay has taken a huge step back is his defense. He used to be one of the best one on one defenders in the league. He’s no where near that guy anymore.

And Redick never lost his shot either.
Shooters like that never lose their shot. Redick could go play a game right now and go 5-10 from 3 easily. Now ask him to play 4 games in 7 days and yeah he probably shoots like shite in three of them because he’s an old man.

You left out that Klay still can’t dribble. That’s also a big issue in his play as he ages

You’re right about Wiseman, but Moody is not worthless. He’ll never be an all star, but he’s a useful player. He has a positive net rating and decent PER, WS and VORP. He’s also a month younger than Hawkins. I think he’ll turn out perfectly fine for a 14th pick

So could they trade Muses Mody for a 1st round pick right now?
Would you give up our 24 1st to trade for him? I sure as hell wouldn't.

He has very little trade value, and if you have no trade value as a lottery pick after 3 years, then you were a rather worthless pick.

Think about Trey and his down year this year and what it would take to trade him. You wouldn't trade Trey for 2 firsts right now. Hell i bet some of you would'nt trade him for 3 firsts. His stats aren't that much better than Moody's, but it's quite obvious after 3 years that Trey is a much much better player.

Moody is a lot like NAW. Are they really a worthless pick? maybe not worthless b/c they are still a decent player and they will stay in the NBA, but at one point they were an asset (before they were drafted), and after 3 years that value has decreased significantly. I use the word worthless b/c of that reasoning right there. They are not worth anywhere near what they were before they were drafted. The Warriors couldn't get Olynyk at the deadline using Moody. Think about that.

Looks like Jimmy Butler is back and playing tonight.

Miami going to start post-ASB rush for top 4 seed.
