KAT for JV and I’ll throw in a protected 2nd round if they twist my arm.

The context here being that both Shams & Woj are reporting that the Wizards & Beal's agent are working together to facilitate a trade as the team is apparently considering going into reset mode

Zuzma and Porzingis are FAs too. They can really do some things if the move Beal..

I wonder if Kristaps opts in or decides to sign an extension via sign and trade….

I doubt he would get an average salary of what he has now around 36 mil. I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing him in on a 3+1 deal if the salary was affordable.

Would you rather 30 year old Bradley Beal at $47M/yr and climbing for 4 more years or 32 year old CJ at $33M/yr for the next 3 years?

"If Bradley Beal gets traded between now and next Thursday, I think people are going to be very surprised at the price and potentially how low it's going to be because his contract is not attractive"

CJ easily for the Pels.

Beal is certainly the better player but at that pricepoint, IMO it is very very obviously more of a negative asset than CJ and his contract.

I would agree.

I look at it like it's CJ and Herb compared to just Beal and no Herb.

So the Blazers become the Blazers/Wizards 2.0

Yeah, even more so if they did Beal and Kuzma to the Blazers for a ton of players (including Simons and Nurkic). It could go something like:

Beal, Kuzma, #8

For

Simons, Nurkic, Sharpe, Little, Knox and #3

If I'm Washington I like that deal. Blazers get what they are looking for as well, just need to resign Grant..

Don't see Blazers giving up that much for Beal and his contract. Kuzma will be a FA anyway.

Heat seem like the logical choice here

Lowry, Robinson or Herro, 2 future picks for Beal

Don't see Washington get much more in return than that

Of course if you’re Washington you love that deal. You trade the worst contract in the NBA and get all that back?

Who the frick do people think Beal is coming up with these trade ideas? Washington would have to send Portland #8 just to get Simons for Beal.

Yea, this seems reasonable. Easier to stomach giving up picks for Beal when you ship off your own sketchy contracts.
