Yea that would be an awful trade of that was the value. Wiggins by himself needs to have a 1st round pick attached.

The problem here bunch is that we don't "need" to do anything. We don't "need" to give the warriors #13 for #2. They need Jrue and want him more than we want to give him up that's the whole point of all of this. If a team wants him then we will get what the good value is or they won't get him.

The GSW trade would have been a lot easier had they kept Russell. Russell would be a lot easier to move than Wiggins.

The golden state trade exists just as much as a Celtics trade considering not having a 3rd team involved. We aren't going to handicap ourselves with Wiggins just like we wouldn't with Hayward while simultaneously getting rid of our best player..

You know damn well BI and Zion are our best two players.
I love Jrue Holiday, and he's one of my favorite Pelicans all time. I have no problem keeping him and resigning him, but he's our 3rd best player, and if we want to win a championship with him on the team, then we need another player that is at least equal to him in that 3rd best role, if not better.

My point is still my point. If he didn't already have the value teams want then we wouldn't be sitting here talking about which teams are calling about him. We aren't going to now take less or let another team dictate demands when THEY are trading for OUR player.
