Fears is 18 years old. He should have just graduated high school. The guy crushed it and was by far the best player as a freshmen in the SEC for Oklahoma. Excellent ball handler first and foremost, and a real gamer. Grew an inch and 15 pounds in last year. Like Lillard going 6th(after multiple years of college), I think very early Fears will be the guy you look back and wonder how he went so low.

I think you all got a great pick. Keep in mind he only played one season at OU but even bigger is he had reclassed from 25 to 24.
Technically he would have just graduated HS last month. He has so much upside and will grow and learn. Good character person too.
If your team has some patience he’ll grow into a core team player. He is so young and can learn to overcome his shortcomings.
I think if this thread is revisited in 3 years you’ll all be happy you drafted him.

Lewis is not like Fears at all. Kira has 1 speed, no clue how to attack angles, change speeds, or control tempo. He is very bad in traffic and after contact. Doesnt have an in between game and doesn't know how to set up defenders especially in the paint.
Fears can do a lot more even though he needs refinement.

Yeah Fears needs weight more than height. He’s 6’4 in shoes. Not bad. But he needs to add a ton of weight.
