This game would have been a loss with Willie. Thank goodness that dude is gone.

Lane Kiffin getting hired at LSU somehow fixed the Saints and Pelicans too

Oh we’d have been blown out in the second half and lost by 25+ with Willie.

JB was finally able to get some practice time with the guys, imagine our record if he had the whole offseason

88 points in the second half and overtime. 45 points in the first half. Hell of an adjustment by Borrego and great effort by the players. We're building a program instead of building a player.

The CJ trade was an absolute steal just for Bey. Poole is a bonus and Peavy is a nice little cherry on top. Extend Bey ASAP.

I don't want to trade Herb. Don't do it! But his value is high.. Conflicted

Huge dub!

There is absolutely no doubt about this. He would never have left Zion on the bench.

Man, Herb was so great in the second half. Dude put in work on Durant. Watching him off ball was a pleasure tonight.

This run started when Zion was benched. I would take him out of the rotation completely. He’s just a bad player now. He brings nothing to this team

Great win against a great team with Championships in their future

And we did it with Zion playing like the worst rotation player in the league.

Time to cut him loose and move forward with the rest of the group

Zion and Missi seem like the odd men out. It was close until Missi/ Zion/ Jose/ Poole came in for Queen/ Fears/ Bey/ Herb. Went from up 3pts to down 9pts fast.

I wouldn't go that far. But he definitely needs accountability when he plays bad. I'm glad they sent that message tonight. He's not above the team and his play will reflect his minutes.

Teams simply set that wall up now & Zion has no answer for it. No 3 point shot. No midrange jumper. No floater.

Sometimes it’s a loser mentality to say this but they really do play hard and don’t quit. They’re playing hard for Borrego even when it’s not going well. That makes a difference when it comes to 3rd quarters and being down.

Zion with a -17 today. By far the worst on the team.
Thanks fatass

It is rather shocking how much the level of his play has declined. In prior years, he was hurt a lot, but he played at an elite level when he was actually on the court. That's just not true anymore, at least not with any consistency.

Borrego has treated everyone this way. I love it.
He’s closed games with more than normal 4th quarter minutes with almost everyone in the roster and he’s only been coaching a handful of games so far.

That’s something Pop would do all the time when guys would stage a nice comeback. Let them win it for you. It’s also great for team morale. Rewarding someone for playing well. What a novel concept
