The goal of these investigations isn't to compensate the teams who were victims, it's to punish the guilty teams. You shouldn't expect to expect any compensation for these type of infractions.

Well they might punish the bulls by making them send us a first… or voiding the contract and sending Zo back to us. Maybe the latter is punishing us though =)

My worry is that the Pels were negotiating the sign and trade before the bell. There was not a lot of time after the opening of negotiating before the players that were coming to the Pels were leaked by the media.
Although, we got the short end in the Lonzo deal, the league could still punish us if Griff was negotiating early with the Bulls. This could have happened with the Heat/Raptors deal as well.
Griff better hope he or the FO is not found guilty. With his shitty record and then found guilty of tampering, I would can his arse.

There’s been smoke with Ball to the Bulls for a long time now. Very doubtful we get anything sent to us, league will just fine them and dock draft picks

Discussing a possible trade deal with the Bulls should the offer Ball a contract and he accepts doesn't seem like it is tampering from the Pels stand point or even the Bulls.
It is more than likely the Bulls reaching out to Lonzo/his reps prior to it and having the deal in place prior to the moratorium. Pels could easily and legally state to Lonzo there is interest in a sign and trade from the Bulls because they were able to talk to Lonzo throughout as the team holding his rights.
In the end, nothing likely comes of this unless the NBA is getting completely fed up with Rich Paul just disrespecting the rules so outwardly and putting them in a bad position where there bias to the big markets is made even more obvious.

And if Klutch is only willing to negotiate with the Bulls, then our hands are tied snd the compensation is not maximized.
The league should have popped the shite out of Klutch and LeBoo for the AD fiasco and they should pop the shite out of Klutch for this.

Tampering happened last year and was cited, except there was no deal to void.

Confusing player/agent tampering with team tampering again.
Players tamper constantly. The NBA doesnt care as much and cant really control it.
Team tampering by GM’s etc - not the same.
