I’m enjoying all the euphemisms to say he is fat and too out of shape to play.

It’s more like he would rather drive than fly economy.

It’s more like he prefers to swim with his shirt on.

It’s more like he just doesn’t want to visit any old castles when in Europe.

if he's been out this whole time, seeing his teammates out there giving their all, while his arse is on the bench collecting a check, then frick him...

It’s all a smokescreen. He just wants to get to a big market to chase fame like all the others that have come through nola.

I hope I eventually eat crow for saying this, but I give up on Zion. A true great would be fighting to get ready for the playoffs and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Why would Griff not want to play Zion?

Not here. DG honestly sounds like a physical therapist who is seeing a workers comp patient and saying without saying that all the objective data is there to indicate recovery but for whatever reason the patient (Zion) won’t go back to doing what he does for a living.

"Objective Metrics" He's saying that Zion weighs too much in the nicest way possible.

No he’s talking about rehab numbers. Muscle strength grades, range of motion, etc.

It’s time for Zion to pack his shite. No hamstring strain even with reaggravation has ever taken this long to heal. Dude is soft and full of shite. If any of his teammates had any balls, they’d call him out for hanging them out to dry all season.

That’s the same verbiage they gave with BI and the “great toe” injury

Yeah they’re blaming players even though the player metrics and return to court are extremely high. This isnt a player issue, the staff wants players 100 percent before they play. Thats not possible in any sport after any injury.

Well if you’re right then Griffin is lying, because he specifically said Zion didn’t feel he was ready to progress to the next step. No real ambiguity there. He pretty much put it on Zion not feeling right.

I fully believe Grif and the front office has completely dropped the ball (again), but why is it that Zion never provides his own updates during these outages? Is he truly “not allowed” to? He’s a franchise player on a max extension, but we are suppose to believe he just takes his marching orders in terms of media availability? Unless he truly doesn’t GAF, and doesn’t want to. All other superstars (even LeQueef) speak for themselves while out. Just more frustrations all around…
