It would be purely a precaution out of an abundance of caution. Just some info from a friend. Nothing yet
confirmed. We’ll see. It wouldn’t bother me too much.

I’d be a bit disappointed if he doesn’t play especially since he only played about 25 min yesterday.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why NBA schedules home/away or away/home BTBs. I get B2Bs may be necessary but at least let the team with the B2B sleep in their own bed and have full access to team facilities the day of the 2nd game.

Caution for what?

If he's not dinged up and did light work last night, there's really no reason for him not to play.

Hell, I'm not even sure why they're so necessary.

This may be me not fully thinking through all of this, but teams usually play around 12 or so B2Bs per season. Start the season 1 week earlier, finish it 1 week later. You just added 14 days to the season and now have the ability to eliminate all B2Bs.

Seems better than having stars miss games and teams completely punt games by sitting 4 starters.

VOR, please edit and add rumor to your post title. I'm not seeing this reported by anyone.

At worst they should have no more than an hour flight time on B2B’s.

It’s bullshite making a team fly completely across the country to play a game the next night.

He's passing on inside info as a TD Exclusive (rumor). Remember that back in the day VOR did some fancy lawyering for team sponsor types who would pass on inside info to him.

Agree. I like what the league has done scheduling consecutive games against the same team. That to me is how they should handle the B2B’s. Just do the same team twice in two days.

It’s a bit counter to reducing travel, but that is how I would schedule division games. Each team should get a home and away B2B against each division team. Ratchet up the dislike between division teams.

If he's not dinged up

He had a hard fall on his back after a no call obvious foul.

He got up quick and told the ref something which earned him a tech.

My immediate thought was - that'll hurt in the morning.

PS - Holding Zion out, could mean that Trey is playing.

Trey was listed as questionable on the injury report a couple hours ago. Zion wasn’t on it.

I think most of us expected it, but I'm not excited about it.

I honestly don’t give a frick. Sit everyone. frick the NBA for this dumb arse schedule. I would’ve went out there with our second team and not even flown the starters. We play here on Friday. fricking absurd.

Hes not on injury report. If he wasn’t going to play due to rest- he would be listed. This is some nonsense rumor.

That was crazy that he got a tech. If you read his lips, he only said "Come on man..." It did not look like he even cursed.

You don’t technically have to curse to earn a tech.

Blown call or not.

The more disappointing part is that the refs did not review the play and at least award Bridges with a flagrant 1.

Meanwhile LB James can pound the monitor during an official review and yell "LOOK AT THE F'N SCREEN" and receive nothing.

Ugh. Would have rather sat him against the Nets when we didn’t need him.

Just curious, anyone know when the actual flight for a game like this would normally be? Just get there a couple of hours before they play?

Lebron is the face of the NBA

Zion embarrassed the nba all summer with his baby mama drama. And Zion has not been the marketable star that he was supposed to be. He’s not going to get preferential treatment like Lebron because he has simply not earned it.
