Jordan finalizing sale of Hornets. Jordan still to oversee draft but obviously new owners will likely have a say. New owners want to come in make a splash here? Trade pick for someone? Or just do status quo and take Miller. Wondering what thoughts of the group were here.

Your last statement alone should make you want to keep him. AD, while good, didnt have this potential to be the best in the NBA when he was with us.

Believe me , Im frustrated as anyone else on here on how the Zion saga has gone and yes he seems extremely immature.

However, trading him due to his immaturity more than likely wont turn out the way you’d hope. He will get older and with age maturity eventually comes.

They should take Henderson. I wouldn't want to give Ball an extension, but they probably don't have a choice. Those two should be able to coexist. But I thought the same with Ball and Holiday. So who knows..

Top 3, IMO.

I don’t know if both can coexist. Both need the basketball to be successful. I can’t see playing Scoot playing off guard. If no trade I think Miller, but maybe new ownership wants to make a splash and make trade (not necessarily with pels).

A Scoot/Zion PnR would seem pretty impossible to stop.

Zion is one of the best volume rim finishers the NBA has ever seen. And while I don't follow prospects, I've read that Scoot is one of the best paint touch generators that folks have ever seen for a prospect.

I was talking about Scoot and Lamelo. I think Scoot and Zion would work great.

If other teams really do value him as low as they do, trading him now is stupid.

If the franchise wants to dump him, let him get healthy, plat at an MVP level and then deal him.

I know that would be weird to trade a guy when he's doing that, but it's still better than trading him for some shitty return like Scoot Henderson.

If there is a trade, which there won’t be, it will 100% be for BI, not Zion

Like I said I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see it based on the last few years. His maturity of consistently preparing yourself to withstand a full season really hasn’t gotten any better since he’s been here (From JJ’s criticism a few years back to CJ’s at the end of this season). It’s my opinion until proven otherwise.

That’s it run it back , don’t make any moves. We’re gonna have the same results. Struggling to make the play in game

You’re getting downvoted but there is an extremely good chance of this exact scenario playing out.

that Zion will ever be a guy that can give you even 65-70 games a year. I would move him.

If Zion gave us 65-70 games of elite play THAT would be the time to move him.

It’d be nice if Michael Jordan wanted to help out Nike and mentor a troubled young star in the process. I’d let him hang around all he wants lol

Ha That would be the reason to keep him…if he’s giving u 65-70 games, he’s fighting for mvp and would be stupid to trade him at that point after all the waiting for him to get there…because if he’s giving u that many games, that would mean he’s finally on track with his health

I’ve realized that most fans ONLY want to trade a star when he’s absolute trash and you get pennies on the dollar or when he asks out and doesn’t want to be there. Any other time you try to trade a star, fans get upset. So this whole we shouldn’t trade him when his value is that low, will then be we shouldn’t trade him when his value is that high. So technically you should just say we’re not trading him and taking the gamble if he busts or asks out. I’m not advocating here to trade Zion or not, just saying don’t use the argument of we shouldn’t trade him when his value is low because you won’t trade him when its high either.

Yeah dude, no shite. Fan is short for fanatic. People love their stars, as well they should. It’s what makes sports great

Yeah I know what fanatic means but there are tons of people who use that argument of cant trade when value is that low. Im pointing out thats a dumb argument especially when you aint trading when its high.
