Chat GPT prediction for Saints

Predicting an NFL team's season record can be tricky due to various factors like injuries, player performance, and strength of schedule. However, I can give you a general idea based on the New Orleans Saints' roster, coaching staff, and schedule for the 2024 season.
### Factors to Consider:
1. **Roster**: The Saints have a strong roster with key players like Derek Carr at quarterback, Alvin Kamara (depending on availability), and a solid defense led by Cameron Jordan and Marshon Lattimore.
2. **Coaching**: Head coach Dennis Allen has experience, especially on the defensive side, but the offensive consistency will be key.
3. **Division**: The NFC South is generally considered a weaker division, with teams like the Falcons, Panthers, and Buccaneers all going through rebuilding or transition phases. This could give the Saints an advantage.
4. **Schedule**: The Saints have a relatively manageable schedule, but key matchups against stronger teams could determine their final record.
### Prediction:
Given these factors, a realistic prediction might be around **10-7** or **11-6**. This would likely make them competitive for a playoff spot, possibly winning the NFC South if they can capitalize on their divisional games.
If you want a more detailed analysis or game-by-game breakdown, I can provide that as well.

8-9 ceiling
We have a lame duck head coach and then the guy that hired him.

The New Orleans Saints' upcoming football season holds both promise and uncertainty. With Derek Carr at quarterback and a solid defense, they have the potential to make the playoffs. However, a challenging schedule and questions about consistency could hold them back.
• Optimistic predictions: Winning the NFC South and securing a home playoff game. This is possible if Carr elevates the offense and the defense maintains its strong performance.
• Realistic predictions: Finishing around .500, likely in the 8-9 win range. This outcome is more probable given the tough schedule and the need for the team to gel under new leadership.
• Pessimistic predictions: Missing the playoffs with a losing record. This could happen if Carr struggles to adapt or if injuries impact key players. Overall, the Saints' season hinges on their ability to execute consistently and overcome challenges. While a playoff berth is within reach, they'l need to play at a high level to achieve it.
Google Gemini prediction lol

Not sure if this is what you mean, but Loomis is ANYTHING but a “lame duck”. In fact, I’d say only Jerry Jones has more job security as a GM than Loomis.

They start 1-5, Allen gets fired.
Team finishes with 5 wins.

I have to ask, did you edit the response from ChatGPT? I asked it to predict the season a couple different way, and it's stuck in 2023.
References to Michael Thomas' health, Kamara suspension, Ram leading the oline, and Pete balancing the offense with DA defense.

Don't they have one of the easiest schedules this season?

When I did this for LSU, it also said Jayden Daniels was back at QB for LSU for 2024 in the position breakdown and strengths for the season. I corrected it so it focused on WR more and said with Malik Nabers and BTJ back at WR and Logan Diggs back at RB. I corrected it. So it said that young guys at WR to step up like Shelton Sampson and Jalen Brown. I corrected it. Now it wont give any explanation really. It was quite funny. But, dont listen to ChatGPT.

Yeah I asked it to predict every NFL team's record and it didn't know that Kirk wasn't a Viking anymore, had the Texans going rebuild mode bc it didn't know about Stroud, didn't know Love already started, etc. Very much out-dated info

Loomis has a boss technically.

Very generous assessment for the worst HC in the league
