The 10yd split on Love’s 2nd run was reportedly 1.48

Imagine watching this team last year and thinking we don’t need a weapon like Love

I wonder how sharp between the ears Love is

I remember Payton saying one of the things that they really loved about Alvin when they drafted him was just how expansive his football knowledge was.

If he runs routes like a receiver, I’d say pretty well. Haven’t seen anything about blitz pick ups. Love is perhaps a better receiving avenue than Adrian Peterson.

He’s smart and has a great dad. He wants to be an author after football and just wrote a book apparently

Someone is going to be very happy drafting Price

Love at 1.8 is my hope, but a world where we go Lemon at 1.8 and Price in the second would make me very happy. I’m not sure Price lasts though.

I like Gennings Dunker as a guard at the next level (always have). If he is one, he’ll have really good size.

As a Guard:
HT: 6-5 (74th percentile)
WT 319 (69th percentile)
Hand 10” (57th percentile)
Arm: 33 1/2” (59th percentile)
Wingspan: 82 1/8” (92nd percentile)

Freeling is going to be the Caleb Banks on the OL side. Massive riser

My thoughts too. We are going to be staring at a Bain, Tate, Fano come pick 8

I’d be looking for Love or Delane at that point.

I think Mendoza, Bailey & Reese go before our pick. Besides that, it’s kind of a crapshoot at the moment. Safety doesn’t typically go that high so Downs may fall to us. Guys like Fano, Mauigoa, Bain and Tate don’t have good numbers so they might slide. Lemon reportedly had terrible interviews so he might slide. Styles and Love had great numbers so they might move up.

It’ll be interesting to see where things shake out the next few weeks. Especially after free agency.

I kind of hope the Saints make a play for David Edwards the free agent guard from Buffalo. But if they don't go after one in free agency, the Rutledge kid from Georgia Tech had a helluva Senior Bowl week. And that's usually hard for a O-line guy to come down here and stand out. I mean the D-line still won overall this year again, but he definitely raised his stock. Plays with a mean streak. Love it!

I really believe Ioane should be considered if this is how it plays out. Ioane is gonna be an elite level guard for a decade. Scouts believe he has HOF talent. Guards are like RBs to me but if this is how it plays out i wouldn’t hate this idea.

As long as the Saints get the highly productive players early on, that's what I'm looking for. And part of me hopes they aren't so high on the RAS scores like they have been Pron to be.

not that test results aren't helpful but don't hold that above everything else.

Yea I meant Love and Styles would be gone by us due to their combine

After looking at Fano and Mauigoa’s full combine, they didn’t hurt themself. Fano killed all the drills and Mauigoa’s arms were longer than previously reported. They are the wildcards in the top 10 that can really sway who falls to us

Jordyn Tyson’s medicals came back clean apparently. If it wasn’t for the injury history, he’d be my top choice at 8
