It's good, it's goooood, PIGS HAS FLOWN, HELL HAS FROZEN OVER, THE SAINTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!! One of the greatest calls I'm the history of sports. Jim Henderson will forever be an Iconic Louisiana Legend.

Hokie Gajan
I loved how self-deprecating he was.

He said about his career as an NFL Running Back:

"When the team needed me to get a yard, I got a yard. When the team needed me to get two yards, I got a yard."

Good dude, passed waaaay too early.

JH is an iconic NOLA sportscaster & voice of the Saints. I was 9 when he replaced Hap Glaudi in 1978 on the WWL news.

I'll also NEVER forget his iconic calls after the NFC CG (it's good, it's gooood, pigs have flown, hell has frozen over & the Saints are on their way to the Super Bowl) and our Super Bowl (get ready to party with the lombardi New Orleans) wins. I hope he is doing well & with much respect.

I like when Duece breaks down a 2 yard run for forty seconds because I obviously can't figure out what happened.

Henderson is a legend, the best to ever do it. He just seemed like one of us.

Hoss is terrible. He sounds like a guy who grew up playing golf in England is now trying to understand football.

I remember as they were going to commercial Garland made a comment about Angela Hill's shopping/ spending(Garland and Angela were married at the time). They came back from commercial to do the sports segment and Jim Henderson asked Garland if he will need his couch for the night again.

Haven't heard that name in a while. She was well known off air for her foul mouth! Very funny!

Has there ever been a less prepared and less knowledgeable radio play by play guy than Mike Hoss??

Not to mention how embarrassingly awkward he is in general. I liked him on TV too - goes to prove that one does not necessarily translate to the other. Literally the worst.

Absolutely! Add Nash Roberts for weather and you have the standard in NOLA that everyone looked to and looked up to.

I remember one year CBS lost the video and audio feed of the game and they threw on the Saints radio feed. It had to have been the late 1980’s.

That was my first taste of Saints Radio.
