Honestly Goedert might be the most realistic with coach’s familiarity (Spotrac says $6mm AAV)

I love his fit. Would complement Olave and Vele well.

The Jacksonville LB seems like a good long term option, but he has low total tackles for some reason? Good in coverage. He did make the 2nd team all pro team though

Also had 5th year option declined, mainly due to previously being pretty bad in coverage. Campinele helped with that a lot.

He’s a playmaker if a bit inconsistent. A lot of Devin Lloyd talk in our house as he’s my son’s favorite player. Kinda hope he stays as I bought him the jersey for Christmas

Yep. We need someone who can block and catch.

I like Kolar and Daniel Bellinger as the blocking types. I think both have untapped receiving potential too

Moreau, Stoll and Taysom are all UFA, so we really need to fill two spots.

Idk what a Goedert would cost but Juwan had better numbers. Neither offer much as far as blocking. There are few younger guys I like though - Otton, Likely, and Chiggy Owonkwo. Likely had a down year but I think he could be a legit TE1 in the right offense

Kyle Pitts is one of the biggest busts in years. I thought he would be a Tony Gonzalez type good TE and he’s just not a good player anymore.

I agree with all of it except I believe we have to get rid of Ruiz. There's no reason to purposely have the right guard handicap us. A mid round pick would be fine. Almost anything would be better than him.
Not only is the line the most important thing on a team besides a quarterback, but especially for a rookie or second year guy. Use one of our fourth rounders

The best guard you can get

Resign Alontae Demario and Fortner as priority

12 is likely the floor.

Just draft a guy in 2nd-4th rd if we don't go Love route.

We can actually afford to spend some money this year. Long as we don’t get too reckless, we 100% can and should bring in some key starters and depth pieces.

If Pitts only costs $10mm I think we need to grab him. Plus it’d be fun to see the Falcons’ super high pick dunk on them

We paid Juwan Johnson 10 million a year after a 500+ yard season. Pitts already had a 1k season, and came close again this year.

Hes not going for 10, it’ll be much more. Wishful thinking.

He just finished 2nd in the league in yards for a te and he’s one of the biggest busts in years?

He hasn’t lived up to his draft status, but you are very wrong.

I want guys that are on cheaper deals, young and in their prime.

Allgeier
Doubs, or maybe Hollywood Brown
Teven Jenkins

Juwan is currently the 13th highest TE at $10.25M a year. Kittle is #1 at $19.1M. Pitts has earned the right to demand more than JJ, but should not be in Kittle/McBride/Kelce territory. You think $15M (would make him 5th)?

But, if you can land Pitts for $10M, I think you have to do it. He just won't go that low, so it's just wishful thinking

I’m sure he’s going for 15-20. That’s overkill on this roster with JJ. We need more of an all around te, one that can block and catch with JJ.

Well yea its called the draft
In FA its called "it will cost you" with the occasional "boy we sure got a good deal on that guy" thrown in.
