We need pass rushers more than an ILB. I want Jordan Willis at 42.

With Barnett I go back and forth whether I like him or not. He just strikes me as a guy that has a decent floor but not a high ceiling.
I like swinging for the fences with Lattimore

SP is commiting to the run game to keep Winston, Ryan and Newton off the field.

Barnett is on the spectrum. Go read his letter to GMs

Watt and Taco going right before must have messed them up.
I like the pick but Atlanta's pass rush getting better and Carolina and Tampa Bay getting better offensively, I just don't see why you don't take Willis

I have a feeling Zach gets beat. Will be a battle of bulls in camp and fun to watch.

Yup. Bashem. Willis still there. Plenty of similarly rated guys as those who just went. We did right going BPA at a spot that was about to be a MUST next year.

I forgot about Tim Williams. He'd be great at 42

I'm good with getting one of the best O-linemen in the draft.
Dallas doesn't make the jump they did with Dak and Zeke, if they didn't have that O line.
A good next few rounds would be nice. A return to form from Anthony and Kikaha would be great.

I think this too. I think they looked at their board and felt they could "reach" a bit for defense or get great value at OL.
Arguments for going either way have merit...but I'm alright with the pick. I think part of the melt is that it's not a sexy pick...and of course not defense.
We aren't in the room...but maybe the defensive guy they considered at 32 will be there at 42 and they spend the day high fiving each other.

It wasn't a huge need. We needed depth more than another starter. But if he lives up to his draft spot then this means that we should have at least a well above average starter in every spot on the offensive line. We should compete with having the best offensive line in the league pretty confidently right now, at least on paper.
I wanted defense, but the only slam dunk pick would have been if foster fell one more spot. I'm not displeased with the pick.

There's a shite ton of options for pass rushers at 42/76

His agent wrote a really sweet letter. His measurables would make him the exception to the rule of your league's top pass rushers though

I'd have to think Saints had Ramczyk rated mid-1st round. Never can have too many good OL or DL.
For need, yes, it's not sexy pick. Dallas building that OL wasn't sexy either. Saints are legit 7 deep pushing best OL in football now.
If we don't grab an EDGE at 42, I will be disappoint, but there's enough stock there to grab a playmaker 10 picks down.

Interesting. Are you saying the Saints are changing their strategy to run first? If so, this pick makes sense.
We're not going run first, but Payton knows that in the years we have been successful the running game was a significant factor.

Yup. Plenty left that would be in the same bubble as Taco, Watt, and Tak.
I'm pulling for Willis, then Bashem.
McDowell isn't really the type of end we need, but I wouldn't be mad with him if they feel they can keep him motivated.

We got best OT and best CB in this draft i like it honestly
Filled 2 very big holes. What is there not to like?
Totally agree. Good draft.
And plenty of edge rushers still on the board. I like Willis and Basham. Williams and McDowell still there too.
