They are having a bad year, and will only be the 2nd time a Lamar Jackson led team did not win 10+ games. Both times Lamar missed 4+ games
How many times has Lamar won 10+ games and it mattered?
The comparison was that players might not want to go back to a team with a low ceiling even if they have a high floor. Trying to act like Baltimore is some impressive successful team when Den/ NE have already surpassed them in 1 year is actually hilarious.

Juwan Johnson played well enough to not need a top tight end.
I've seen enough from Johnson to know not to expect him to consistently play at this high level. If he does, great but you better have a backup plan for if he doesn't.

Pitts is the epitome on inconsistency
Paying a TE or RB given Johnson and Kamara’s deals would be dumb on us. You have to ride them out and supplement through the draft or cheap FAs

Draft players in the middle rounds that are strictly guards. Stop converting OT’s to guards.
Draft a center too in the middle of the draft.
No fricking projects. Just starters in college that played on credible OL’s.
The Saints have to protect the franchise QB.

So you think Kyle Pitts is the answer to that? The dude has had 3-4 good games his entire career. What you say about Juwan goes double for Pitts.

We should sign the best OG available and trade for Brian Thomas Jr.
1st, 2nd, 3rd picks on defense. 4th-6th on WR/ RB/ TE.

Jags will likely want too much for him, and in a way I can’t blame them for not wanting to sell low on him after his second season.
They have stated that they don’t plan to trade him (not that the statement really means anything).

Don’t forget that we are still a little cap strapped in 2026. We will be looking at mid-level bargain guys we hope we hit on. Not top free agents.
We also probably need to resign Demario and Cam too.

We should come to terms with either Francis Mauigoa or Fuaga being one of your starting guards in ‘26
I just don’t think this is the direction they’re going. You don’t HAVE to take your entire OL in the first round in order to have a good one.

Both contracts were stupid but I don’t see how paying a 25-year-old RB a contract when Kamara is about to be 31 and effectively in the last year of his deal is something forcing you to not address in FA.

We’ve taken four OL in the first this decade, and it’s only 2025. I’m tired of it but until they show otherwise
You can pretend Kamara’s contract doesn’t exist, and making a guy like Breece Hall a top 5 paid RB, given our roster and cap, would be foolish

You’re gonna have to give up a first. He’s had multiple injuries this year and more and more rumblings from jags insiders that Hunter going to shift to defense. The jags are in a rare position that they picked in the top 5, their top 3 draft picks have missed almost the entire year, and are playing for their 13th win tomorrow. They’re not giving up BTJ for cheap with 3 cost controlled years to go.
That roster is low key pretty stacked on offense with BTJ, Meyers, Parker Washington, strange as the main pass catchers.

I want Alec Pierce WR from Indy in FA and Spencer Fano the OT from Utah with #8 pick.

You can acquire other good RBs not named Breece Hall

Breece Hall, Ken Walker, Etienne and Javonte Williams are on this top 40 list. Every team with a bad RB room will want these guys and they’re going to cost
I never said you couldn’t acquire a good RB

Possibly. Hopefully we are shopping borderline 1rd pick players for 3-4 2nds.

I hope Nicholas Singleton falls to us in the 3rd. He’d be perfect to pair with a guy like Neal. Jadarian Price is also an explosive runner.
But we have to fix the OL before any RB can be successful here.

I really like Pierce, good route runner with speed…..AND he can make contested catches. You put he, Olave, and Vele on the field together and you have a REALLY good WR room
