Not the best choices on the color wheel but all the back and stainless of today looks pretty sterile

Thank God the women in my family all have relatively modern kitchens.

My wife’s family on the other hand… This looks like an exact replica.

That fridge is still running in someones garage.

We had an avocado green Frigidaire, like the one below, when I was a kid in the 70's and my dad kept it for his shop beer fridge when my parents bought a new one. After he passed away in 2004 it moved to my garage/shop for the same purpose. It finally crapped out about 4 years back.

That refrigerator is probably going strong in somebody's garage right now.

From green and orange in the 70’s, to oak and cream in the 80’s/90’s, to white and gray in the 2020’s. I wonder what’s next.

I asked my mother if she liked those colors at the time. She said no, but it’s all you could get!

We’d have killed for a kitchen like that in the 70s.

Our kitchen didn't have as much avocado, my folks like earth tones, but that one does look like some of my childhood friends' kitchens that I remember.

If I remember right, Alice's quarters are behind that door?

Quite ugly, but so is all this white/gray "farm"house crap that dominates today.

I have no idea what your kitchen looks like, but when you are dead and gone... A simple white kitchen will still be acceptable.

White cabinets. White quartz. Stainless apron front sink (because my wife didn't like the 100 year old 5ft cast iron white sink I'd had for years.

Hell the only color we have is that my wife decided the base of the island should be some grayish blue navy nonsense.

I know tastes change with time and styles come and go, but I can't imagine looking at that color scheme and thinking "yes, this is the look I want."

The cabinets in my parents house when i was a kid were that color and the countertops were the green color the appliances were. Our dishwasher was almond, as was the oven.

I know you don’t cook. There’s hardly any counter space there.

Got one of these bad boys in the garage now for beer and such. Same color too. 1 owner and it still works. Have a GE basic black from the 80's in the kitchen right now, still works. Jack Welch screwed up what was probably the greatest US company.

Love the inside spinning shelves
