I work with a guy everyone calls Blisters. Always shows up after the work is done.

My brother was one of those kids. Went most of his childhood with ice and stiches on his head. His nickname was Busta because he was always busting his own head.

My family uses nicknames exclusively for the 3 boys. M-Foo, Krinkus, and Bill were our childhood named that stuck. All derived from mispronunciation of our given names

My boys nicknames are “Bud” and the other is “Mario” or “Andretti” from having to clean the skid marks out of his underwear for waaay too long.

I knew these two guys who were best friend. One had the nickname “noodles” because he was skinny and the other on’s nickname was “doo doo” for reasons unknown to me. There were inseparable and eventual earned the joint nickname of “shite stroganoff. “

I’d never make it in today’s youth sports. I gave almost all my kids nicknames because I struggle remembering names.
