Serious answer....are you on any meds? I am close to 40 and was a mess about a year ago. Like my wife was about to leave me type shite, crying, drinking, etc. We have a great life, nice house, good jobs, etc. I had an allergic reaction to a blood pressure med and i came to find that med was causing severe depression. I got off it and a week later felt better than I had in years.

I'm much like you in terms of career, etc. I think it's because everything is worse now than we were expecting. The good shite we think back on was amazing because it was so real and full of potential.

What we have now is just an unsorted mess of people yelling at each other and nothing feeling real.

Check your testosterone. If it's low you will feel way better when it's corrected

Often times just watching a video. Also thinking back on old times. Wtf is wrong with me. I am a business man, very professional, always the one everyone leans on family and friends. I don't feel like I'm being stretched too thin but damn my emotional swings say otherwise.

Great... so I have this to look forward to in a few years...

Low T and realizing that your best days are behind you and not in front of you anymore. It gets worse.

JK...sort of

I can shed tears at the drop of a hat for certain things.
But I'm an AU fan and the ups and downs of Gus's offense can do that to anyone

yes, it is, funny thing for me is I'm healthy as a horse but don't necessarily lead a super healthy lifestyle but as I get older I worry about the health of friends and family, not a huge fan of aging but I don't dwell on it

You cross a line when you hear of someone you know dying, and it's a surprise but not a shock, because that shite happens to someone his age.

I am the quentisential male. Very tough. Always on top of whatever things go wrong around the house. I'm at a loss as to what's going on.

I think that is a common trait, my Dad was that way, I have it too but more stoic, everyone else's well being first, I'm a tough guy, I can handle it, etc., kind of hard to break that, difference in my Dad and me along those lines was that he was quicker to show compassion for anyone(not a sap,) where as I have to assess the situation first

at that point, it would be depressing if you dwell on it, imo, got to push forward

Not for baby boomers. They just put their head down and became even more selfish, arrogant, and entitled at this point.

I’m taking that play from there book. It’s working. Y’all need to be more selfish, for health reasons.
