I knew a girl who married a guy who was shorter than she was. She always bragged that his nickname “Tripod” was accurate. They have been married for over 40 years so I guess things are working out for them.

Ha ! As a soph in high school, I stood all of 4’10”. Grew a little down the road to 5’6”. As a result, I dated three ladies in my journey that were my height or shorter. I married all three! No, the height never bothered me along the way.

If you've got access watched the 1st episode of the Australian version of MAFS. Ran into it last night and this lady was all about wanting a tall guy because she was curvy (and she was in a good way.) FF to the ceremony and they had picked out the shortest guy 
The guy was a former pro cricket player and once she found out about that she had a change of heart.

I’m 5’11” and dated a girl who was 6’2” without issue. Was actually kinda fun as prior to that I had only dated girls 5’-5’4”.

It’s rare to find a “5’11” woman who isn’t really a six-footer. Most of them don’t want to cop to it...I guess they think it’s too masculine sounding. It’s like when people hear $2.99 they think two bucks rather than three.
I once dated a six-footer (claimed to be 5’11” - I’m 6’1”). She said that a lot of guys shied away from her because they were insecure about the height difference. Of course, I later found out that the source of their insecurity likely stemmed more from the fact that she was a sociopathic bitch rather than her height.
