A PJ's, City Hall, and no parking whatsoever.

Right next to a hospital would be ideal. That way if you survive the trauma from the bullet or knife wound, you probably won't bleed out.

That’s like 4 miles away - they can just go rob Sherwood Forest and Broadmoor instead

Unless you absolutely have to live in BR you're better off finding something on the Northshore a little further away from BR. That's the only "nice" area in SE LA. There's definitely no nice areas in BR.

If I was moving to BR, I'd live in a gated community to be away from crime and trash as much as possible.

Lakes, bocage area, southdowns, woodstone/woodgate, a few nice neighborhoods in the oak hills places area off highland, CCL if you want a bit of a drive...

definitely depends on budget and what you're looking for.

I live In Capital Heights and it’s pretty nice. Lots of you get families. People are always out walking.

Anywhere on the high side of Highland Road between LSU's south gate and Country Club of Louisiana except between Starring Lane and Blue Bonnet will be nice. In that stretch you can find a nice home between $300,000 and $10 Million.

quote:

BATON ROUGE - Police were called to a mugging where gunshots were reported on North Street Wednesday afternoon.

Police were dispatched around 3:30 to the incident at the corner of North Street and Eugene.

Police said they received a call for help after someone was robbed and gunshots were fired. The victim ran inside a convenience store at the corner for help.

The violence comes amid a wave of crime this week in Baton Rouge.

If you are looking for fairly recently constructed homes, you will be disappointed if don't like the white farm house style. I think it is some sort of building code requirement around here.
