What range are you looking in? Sport or dress? Tell me something about what you're looking for. I could go Breitling, omega, VC, Glashutte, Tissot, hell any number of good choices
Can you recommend something with a perpetual calendar?

Hublot. As Jay-Z once said in his hit song “Otis”
“New watch alert: Hublot!”
“New watch alert: Hublot!”

Without getting to way more expensive, I’d go Omega. I do however love the look of the black bay line by Tudor, I think they look a little better than the seamaster that has the helium valve sticking out.

Omega Speedmaster Professonal. Screw Rolex.
Get yourself multiple NATO straps to switching things up instead of multiple watches. Goes with everything.

The Rouchefoucauld. The thinnest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to three atmospheres. It is *the* sports watch of the '80s. It tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad.

I would know. And that’s all that matters to me. I don’t care if other people think it’s real or fake. I wear it for me. Not anyone else.

Agree with the Casio. If it is good enough for terrorists it is good enough for me.

Vacheron Constantin, IMHO, is a superior watch.

I have a Nomos Tangente for formal occasions, a Speedmaster for sport, and an Oris diver. I’m in search of a gold watch.
Gold sport watch or dress watch?

Isn’t best whatever appeals to the buyer?

I have a Tissot PR516 arriving tomorrow. It's my first Swiss, I am very excited.

I sold my speedy to help finance my Batgirl. I miss it often and love that you never see them in the wild (outside of certain places in the USA).
I almost want to sell my Rolex and get another, but I know I’d regret it and you can’t just go buy another.

Best would include durability, warranty, price, timekeeping ability and a few other points. I often buy sub par watches just because I like them better
