What caught my attention was the duration of the quake. Those videos are violent for 1-2 minutes. Can't imagine actually witnessing one of those.

I'm one of those weather freaks that have always wanted to witness a tornado/ earthquake/ tsunami. But I'm also smart enough to know that I'm glad I haven't.

Looked it up that one was a 9.0 or 9.1. So, this one isn’t quite as strong. Still a monster quake though.

Having been in a strong earthquake in Alaska and being an almost lifelong Chalmation. i am shocked they could even think about their phones in those moments.

Its rough to think about anything except "holy shite am i going to die"

Well, you have to consider that, on top of the fact there is a 8.8 earthquake happening, they’re also most likely quite hammered because they drink vodka like we drink water.
