I feel like she has to be funny/fugly for me to be friends with her.

If she has my slightest attention with a cute face, or a plump bottom I keep them at arm’s length

This is different than interest in becoming sexual partners. If you can honestly say that neither of you would hook up in a random moment, then maybe, but that becomes harder to avoid with time.

I cant be friends, like regular buddy hangout level, with a girl. Each time I tried it takes that turn eventually.

It's best for a relationship where this is a line in the ground. Be friendly and cordial at gatherings but you don't want their "bestie" to be someone of the opposite sex. Even if it's her "gay friend". Natural competitiveness always pops up.

This. Because they can introduce you to their hot friends.

have a straight male friend. We often watch sports together, talk about sports, or attend sporting events. My SO is more interested in hunting and fishing than football or basketball so he doesn't mind if I watch a game with my friend. I suspect that the friend might be a distant cousin but have not found records to verify that yet.

That’s all wonderful, but he thinks often about fricking you. If you are honest you do the same.

No…one or the other of them sees the possibility of romantic involvement, whether they admit it to themselves or not.

I guess Chris Rock put it best. We (men) don’t have lady friends. We just have women we haven’t fricked yet.

"Hi I'm Chris....wanna frick?!?!"

Spot on. If any guy is having a hard time explaining why guy friends isn't best for a relationship, just sit down together and watch that comedic genius hour. "Bigger and Blacker" I believe is what it's called.

Y'all do like to frick people you have a strong emotional connection with though. We aren't talking about some random dude, were talking about someone you're friends with. I'm not saying it's impossible for a 100% platonic friendship, but it is the exception 99.99% of the time.

I’ve been widowed for right at 10 years and I have some lady friends who I talk with and they live in a few different states. I was romantically involved with one at one time and now, years later, we are friends that appreciate the earlier time together but are not looking for anything else. Matter of fact, I try to avoid any further developments with anyone on purpose. I like my current lifestyle and people around me and am happy to not introduce a commitment to a woman into my space. Tough to want the sex but not want all the what’s attached to those goodies but, hey, I’ll make it…….

Sure, if she’s gay or if she blows him every once in a while.

You're traveling with "a few lady friends" that you have "no romantic interest" in?

That's a helluva way to come out, but you do you...

Two types of women in a man’s life:
1 women we’ve fricked
2 women we haven’t fricked…yet

Every attractive woman that I was "friends" with I ended up doing something with them. If there's mutual attraction, someone is going to end up seducing the other.

Now that I'm married, we have mutual friends, but we don't talk privately to the opposite sex half of the couple, just seems like the smart play.

I am a 37 year old man and have become friends with a 24 year old female who is incredibly good looking. She is engaged, but I would never just hang out her and me. Thankfully my wife is also friends with her, so we all are friends together.

This username and alter creation are creepy af. This is 08 who sent 10 pineapple pizzas to my house the day the alter was created to “threaten” me into shutting up about one of his numerous affairs. I guess he wants me scared that he knows where I live.

Am I missing the sarcasm? Did this really happen?

You’d have to put in some effort to find someone’s address to do some shite like this.! I don’t care enough about any of you fools to put in work to track down real names and address. I know you like horses but that’s about it.

Why 10 pizzas? He could have made the same impact by just sending 3. There are much cheaper ways to show that you’re a creep.
