re: Day to Day “Little Things” that make you Happy

Every morning I get to open my eyes and and roll over and hold my wife.
Every morning I get to wake my kids up and get ready for the day. Laughing and making jokes on the ride to the bus.
Every night I get to kiss them goodnight (the lullaby days are all but gone but sometimes I sing them anyway).
Getting into my bamboo sheet, on my comfy bed, and my wife fixes my pillows just like I like them, then slides her arm under them and lays her head on my chest in "her spot".
And I drift off to dream thankful I got one more day, and hope I get another.

This morning, my husband woke me up by dumping a basket of warm clothes from the dryer on me. I wish I could wake up like that every day.

At a great Mexican restaurant and dipping that chip into salsa and scoopful makes it to mouth without cracking or spilling.
First pee of morning, eyes half closed, light optional, and hit bulls eye with no rim residue.
Spotify Chill Mix playlist starts my day with 3 tunes that meet my mood right where it’s at.
The first close of a fully packed suitcase and it zips up perfectly. No further attempts needed.
When open financial software and see that we are under budget for the month.
That feeling after swooshing water around mouth and spitting out after flossing.

Woke up and happiness are not something you will see in my house when it comes to the wife
